YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WATCHING

‘Page one intrigued me. Page three hooked me. By page five, I was consumed.
This compulsive, propulsive novel is both a seize-you-by-the-throat thriller and a genuinely moving family drama. Stellar.’ – A.J. Finn, author of The Woman in the Window

'Jewell writes wonderfully engaging characters who weave plausibly tangled webs and the whodunit was largely incidental until the closing pages. She masterfully draws all her threads together throwing in some cunning twists for good measure…The countdown is on for the next Lisa Jewell novel.' - Daily Express
_______________

You’re back home after four years working abroad, new husband in tow.

You’re keen to find a place of your own. But for now you’re crashing in your big brother’s spare room.

That’s when you meet the man next door.

All the time.

But you never dreamed that your innocent crush might become a deadly obsession.

Or that someone is watching you.
_______________

Family secrets, illicit passion and an unexplained murder? It can only be the gripping new novel from Lisa Jewell, #1 bestselling author of Then She Was Gone.
_______________

'I was totally gripped by this excellent psychological thriller. Set in Bristol, it opens with a dead body, then moves into the head of Joey, a newly-married 27-year-old who gets a sudden crush on one of her new neighbours, which quickly becomes obsessive. Hugely enjoyable.' Marian Keyes, author of The Break

'If you only pick one summer read this year, make it Watching You. I inhaled it in one sitting. A gripping plot, characters you love but can't trust, and a thumping emotional heart, Lisa Jewell has done it again.' Sarah Pinborough, author of Behind Her Eyes and 13 Minutes

'If you loved The Woman in The Window and The Girl on the Train then this is for you!' the Hotlist, U Magazine

'Then She Was Gone was my favourite thriller last year and this is even better. Brilliantly plotted and impossible to put down, it kept me guessing until the very end.' - Alice Feeney, author of Sometimes I Lie

'She's done it again! Lisa Jewell has penned the page-turner of the summer. Emotionally-engrossing and utterly compelling, with a mystery that keeps you gripped until the last heart-wrenching page.' - Tammy Cohen, author of They All Fall Down

INDIA KNIGHT LOVES WATCHING YOU - ‘A finely drawn domestic thriller.’

Very good

I enjoyed this book. It seemed to take a long time to get going but the second half is fabulous. Lots of suspense and a great twist. The narration was good, convincing performance. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending which I felt was untidy and unsatisfying. However it’s a great good and well worth a listen.

interesting not what I expected

enjoyed it, but found it immensely annoying that the police interviews went police .... then TF .... police..... TF.... announcing every person everytime got very monotonous. other than that I enjoyed the book.

Another really good book from Lisa Jewell

Great narration, a very good story, enough twists to have you guessing, and all chapters are relevant and novel well. A really good listen!

Great but predictable.

I enjoyed this book but it was totally predictable . I had guessed everything before I was halfway through, even the end. Nevertheless, it was still entertaining. The narration was superb.
If I was being picky, I'd say the Bristol accent was more Dorset sounding in parts but only people local to the area, like myself, would really notice that and some of the time it was spot on.
If you enjoy guessing the plot this is maybe not the book for you as it was easy to work out.
I still love Lisa Jewell and will continue reading her novels.

Good plot and narrator

Really enjoyed this book. For some reason I thought the victim was someone else until quite late on - not sure if that was just me! I did guess nearer the end as there was a big clue but I still thought it was a good plot which was well read. Would recommend. Best book by this author Ive read so far.

Brilliant Whodunnit

I loved this book and couldn't stop listening from almost the very beginning. It kept me guessing the whole way, and I kept changing my mind as to who the culprit was too.
It's well read with subtle accent changes and no silly deep voices.
The very end gave me chills. Excellent psychology twists and turns that makes you think one thing but then change your mind a bit later. I'll definitely look for more books by Lisa Jewell.

Beautifully described characters and well read.

Very impressed by the characters in this story. Especially Freddie. I’m reluctant to say much more because it would give the subtleties of the book away,

What an authentic and intelligent thriller

This book is reminiscent of Ruth Rendell at her very best. Full of thoughtful and nuanced social observation and credible as well as interesting characters. The sense of place is excellent as well as the unifying theme around watching. Even the content dealing with paranoid delusion and Aspergers’ syndrome avoided cliche. I have listened to one of Lisa’s books before and this has confirmed my high opinion of her. I’ll now listen to all the others and recommend to my friends.
