Christine and Todd!

Christine works at a veterinary clinic in Beverly Hills and is involved in a casual relationship with Mark, a doctor, when her life is turned upside down by an unexpected pregnancy and the fact that Mark is not the man she thought he was. When her parents need her help a return to her hometown may be exactly what she needs to make plans for the future.

Todd is a kindergarten teacher who was best friends with Christine when they were children. As teenagers his feelings for developed into love but his one attempt to share them with her put a distance between them that hasn’t breached. Now that she is back in town will this be their second chance or will their very different lives separate them once again?

This is a heartwarming small town romance as seeing each other both Christine and Todd realize who and want they want in their future. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and did enjoy the narration, but I think I would have preferred a male and female narration.
