Amazing Story & Narration🎧Heartwarming & Swoony!
Nikki Ash blows me away with another amazing novel set in her fabulous “Love & Whiskey” series and she has outdone herself with this book and as much as I want to say this is the best of the series, it would not be fair to the first two books which are just as amazing. She created something very special with this series, besides the fantastic storylines, are the stars of the show, the incredible characters, characters that are realistic and easy to relate to, easy to fall in love with too. This third book of the series is Paige and Nate’s story, a story that captivated my attention and tugged at my heartstrings the entire time, so much so I could not put the book down because I needed to know what happened next. Paige was going to London for a friend’s wedding, but left a few days earlier so she could surprise her boyfriend who had taken a job there, except the surprise was on her, walking in on his in a compromising position with her best friend. She went to the hotel where her friend’s wedding was taking place for an earlier reservation, but there were no rooms available. Her luck turns around after being saved from a fall by the handsomest man who turns out to be kind because he went and booked her a room, an upgraded room, for her stay in London. Nate was in London for business, his family’s hotel business, when he saw her almost take a spill on the cobblestone street. Not only did he save her, but he felt an instant attraction to her and he wanted to spend more time with her. Since Paige was already familiar with London, she agreed to take him to some spots worth visiting. The two had a wonderful time together, and he took her mind off of her ex and friend’s betrayal. She had to see both of them again at their friend’s wedding, but Nate, once again, came to her rescue. Paige knew this thing with Nate could only be a fling, since she done with long-distance relationships, plus other disappointments in her life that left her jaded. Nate wanted otherwise and hoped she would change her mind, which she does eventually, but for another reason, though it was too late since she threw out his contact information. Luckily, Nate’s family convinced him to pursue what he wanted, Paige, and they meet once again. Will Paige get past her insecurities, or will her past demons get the best of her? Nate was a patient man and a real sweetheart, and I loved watching them navigate their relationship. Also loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. And as always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Theo Sinclair and Lexi Evans did a fabulous job voicing these characters, humanizing them with their personality and emotions.I loved how they took their roles and ran with it, delivering a spot on portrayal of each and were believable in every role, especially the two leads, Nate and Paige. These two made a fantastic narration team, with talent and voices that complemented each other and a performance that took the already amazing story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Swoony Hero Alert!!!
I have loved so many of this author's books so I was really excited to listen to this one. The story started off strong and I was hooked right in. Paige and Nate have a steamy encounter Paige finds her boyfriend cheating on her, but Paige decides due to the distance they live from each other, and the lingering trust issues she has from her ex that its best to leave things alone and not pursue a relationship. Several months later, she wishes she took a different course of action, but lucky for her, Nate is determined in all things related to her and hunts her down.
I loved Nate. He and his family were the highlight of this book. It was nice to see a man so smitten and so willing to do anything for the woman he loves, even give up his job. My sole issue with this book was Paige's inability to get over her trust issues. She had a wonderful man who loved her more than anything, and his family who treated her like a member of the family, but she was so stuck on her past that she could never move forward. It unfortunately made the book drag a little, making it seem redundant and making her seem overly whiny and immature.
This story was an easy read/listen and overall it was engaging, though predictable, although that didn't take away from the story for me. I will continue to read this authors work as I have really enjoyed some others, and this was enjoyable as well, but Paige's personality did detract from the story somewhat. Theo Sinclair and Lexi Evans did a fantastic job with the narration of this story and bringing Nate and Paige to life. The Flock VIP Review Team Pink Flamingo Productions

Loved the narration of Theo Sinclair and Lexi Evans
Paige was supposed to be in London with her boyfriend for a wedding, It is then she catches her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Her mother came from London, Paige decides to explores London. While outside a hotel Paige meets Nate , after he saves her from nearly falling outside a hotel. Nate asked Paige to show him around London and spend some time with him before they had to leave.
Nate is in London for business, the chemistry was undeniable. Sharing some steamy time together. But Paige is not ready for a relationship, especially with someone who lived so far away.
After returning home, Paige finds out that she is pregnant, but is unable to contact Nate. Months passes and Nate comes looking for Paige. When they see each other, Nate is determined to show Paige that they can work and that nothing would make him happier than having a baby with her.

Paige & Nate!
There are times in life when fate steps in. After a breakup, Paige finds herself in need of a hotel room. Seeing Nate in the lobby is where fate plays the first role, seeing Paige for the second time and getting the chance to help her get a room. Instant chemistry leads to spicy times, knowing there would be a an end date. But fate steps in again, and life throws them a curve. Not knowing Nate's last name, it wasn't until he came to workplace to make a deal with her company, and things took a complete turn. These two are not going to mess with fate, are they? Nate and Paige are perfect together. I love the family feel I had with Nate's family. They were the warm and understanding. Paige was so confident in some instances and others she needed that ability to control her life. I loved the way these two came around, Nate being such a steadfast and loving man. This a fabulous addition to the Love and Whiskey series and I loved every minute.
Lexi Evans and Theo Sinclair bring this gem to life. I love this team, they have a wonderful chemistry that comes right through their narration. As Paige, Evans finds her quirks and makes her endearing. I love how she uses her voice to let me hear the changes in her as the story develops. Sinclair has the voice for the perfect book boyfriend. His warm tones made Nate the man dreams are made of. Together they gave a fabulous performance.

Wonderful narration, sweet story
The wonderful part of this story is that the male character is the one who patiently waits for the female to overcome her fears and accept this forever love. Nate and Paige had a great meet cute where Paige needed a knight and Nate was there. Paige has had a difficult past and does not trust men so she and Nate had a pact that this would be a short term fling. Well, as noted, the accidental pregnancy prevents that. Low angst, swoony sweetness is the name of the game and there is a lot of steam in this story. I think that there could have been a little more character focus and Paige's push and pull felt too extended.
I listened to the audiobook with Theo Sinclair and Lexi Evans. Both are fantastic narrators and elevated this story with their fantastic, emotional reading.
