About this listen
A land on the brink of destruction!
On the run from the family, Athgar and Natalia take refuge in a far distant port, hoping to escape discovery. When outside interference causes the uneasy balance of power to crumble, the entire region is plunged into chaos.
Kargen, now responsible for the future of Therengia, must bargain with an unwanted emissary from the very people who tried to kidnap Oswyn!
Can the northern kingdoms overcome their animosity to keep the peace, or will they forever be drenched in bloody conflict?
And will Therengia thrive or disappear into the annals of history?
The stakes have never been higher as Athgar and Natalia risk all in Vortex, Paul J Bennett's sixth installment of The Frozen Flames series.

Best book so far
This was the best book by far since book 1&2. 3/4&5 were very mediocre.
The story had everything and more which is what i have been waiting for. Lets hope book 7 continues in the same way

Accents
I loved this series however the accents made me laugh out loud. Athgar was definitely from the Northeast along with a mix of Mancunian, the southwest and Surrey. I feel there is more to tell though. What about Oswin and her development.
I would recommend this series to anyone who likes myth and magic. Each book is well written and well developed. Certainly worth a credit.
