Summary
An international thriller about the search for Mary, the mother of Jesus, from the New York Times best-selling author of the Repairman Jack novels.
During the Gulf War in 1991, an ancient scroll is found in Southern Israel. Years later, scientists declare it a fake, but an American nun believes it will lead her to the resting place of the Virgin Mary.
What she finds seems to possess miraculous healing powers that attract believers and skeptics from across the globe. She also draws the attention of a mysterious Israeli Shin Bet officer determined to retrieve the remains of the “Mother” at any cost. And that is only the beginning....
Previously published under the pseudonym Mary Elizabeth Murphy.

Great story
I enjoyed this audiobook which kept me hooked right through. Well written and well narrated apart from the mispronunciation of "Quay". It's pronounced KEY not KWAY.

Enjoyed this cleverly woven Dan Brown type tale Suspend common sense and criticism and let it carry you along A bit preachy
Toward the end The characters were various and many but all well drawn The Loaves and Fishes was so believable too

Most uplifting
True confession here, I picked this book because I love the narrator, Assaf Cohen, so I was pleasantly surprised when I enjoyed it so much. It's a clever story that on many occasions I was hoping would come true. The writing keeps the story going at a good pace and although it's somewhat of a fantasy I found myself really buying into the concept. Assaf Cohen's narration is spot on and really upped the enjoyment of this book.

Clever storyline, but complete heresy
I was not expecting the swear words or sexual content in a book under Christian genre. The story was clever fiction but very far from Biblical teaching which was a shame since it was cleverly crafted and well narrated.
