About this listen
The battle lines have been drawn. My fellow scions and I stand on one side and the power-hungry barons on the other. The scheme they've put in motion could shatter both our community and the non-magical world. Neither I nor the guys I love are willing to let that happen, but with the barons throwing both laws and parental bonds aside, we're short on options. The fate of our world could come down to a literal battle for our lives - one I'm not sure we have any hope of winning.
Will the strength we've found together and the allies we've managed to gather be enough to carry us through? How close to the barons' level will I have to sink to have a chance at victory? As our time runs out, the only thing we can count on is that blood will be spilled - and lots of it.
Please note: Vicious Arts is the eighth and final book in a university-age paranormal academy series. Expect magical villainy, a tough heroine who bends to no one’s will, a dollop of steam, and a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers reverse harem romance where there'll be no choosing required.

Perfect ending
Ah Eva, where have you been all of my life?
After last books cliffhanger, I wasn't sure how everything was going to be resolved, but the author was masterful in combining epic drama, intrigue a sprinkling of taboo (Malcolm and Rory) and some really poiniant moments to bring this series to its conclusion.
The only thing now is that I'm sad it's over...

Explosive conclusion
I loved this book and was hooked from the start, and was so disapointed when I reached the end, of the book and the series. The author skillfully built the drama and intrigue of the series, and gave it an explosive finale, with the expressive narration of Meg Sylvan and Stephen Dexter, it was a combination that grabbed the readers attention and kept it throughout the entire series, this is one I'll return to to enjoy many times.

Final story in the series
Book 8 in the series . I was totally loving this whole series . Eva Chase is a fantastic author that has strong hero’s and a strong heroine. I like how the characters support each other . Will always find a way to combat anything that they face . In this final Book it picks up where book 7 ends. Rory and the Baron Blackstone, Rory mother kills , murders Connor mother . Jude and Rory approach Judes uncle to support the Scions against the Barons. There are only 2 barons left and they both are planning something huge . The fearmansers are divided between the Barons and their children ( the Scions ). Connor gets great news about his brother, Connors brother was able to get healed .
There is a lot going on , lots of twits and turns. The ending is a true love story between Rory and her men .
Stephen Dexter and Meg Sylvan performance was fantastic. I was able to tell each character by their tone

Will definitely listen to more books by this author
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
I can’t believe it finally ended! It had everything we expected and more the final battle between the good and evil, danger, suspense and full of emotion. Our scions characters continue to develop into these incredible individuals and watching their relationships blossom throughout this series has been an incredible journey in itself. I absolutely have loved this series and will definitely be listening to other books by this author!

Amazing!
This is the final book in the series. And what an ending!
Throughout the 8 books the plot keeps changing and growing, and in this book it explodes in an amazing way. I'm really glad I gave this series a shot.
The narrators are brilliant.
I will probably return to this series in the future :D

I don't want it to end!!!
This last instalment is so packed in actions and emotions that it will leave you wanting for more of Rory and her lovers. I love all the changes they set in motion and how they restore order into the world. It was definetely an excelent read which echoes the current state of unrest in our world but only to expose the evil at play when one becomes a powermonger and forgets to listen to the people they actually have to rule, protect and serve. Last but not least, I think Queen B's words "Who run the world? /Girls!" are very fitting for this book because Rory, despite being a fearmancer is displaying a lot of love and empathy even toward her ennemies and we can see how such qualities transform her pentacle into a group of leaders to look up to.

Brilliant
I loved this book, it was exciting yet emotional in places. This is a dramatic and fitting end to this wonderful mesmerising series. I am sad to see the back of these enchanting characters.
The narrators bring the characters to life wonderfully and have been consistent throughout the series.

A great ending to this series of books
This has been a great series of books and if you have just clicked on this one, yes it is worth getting all 8 books.
All books make up one story, none of the books are standalone, but it is a rollercoaster of a story.
