Fabulous story, excellent narrators

I really loved listening to this book. I have read it before but listening to it just added extra dimensions I didn't realise I needed. Daniel's southern accent is one of them! The narrators are excellent and I felt myself sink in to listen as soon as they started. I have to hold my hands up and admit I melted every time the male narrator went down into his lower range. As for the story I love it! The characters are brilliant and it's great to have a story set in the tech world. It's not overwhelmingly techy either. I'm just sorry that it ended.

Excellent start

Great way to start this series, the chemistry between the characters is great. I love how the men are all Alpha’s but not too dominant in the day to day life. I really can’t wait for book 2! Great performance from both Lisa and Kale. Well written by Bethany.

Interesting listen

This story was great! The plot and characters were very interesting. My only complaint is that it is being considered a reverse harem but there is nothing sexual in this book except for tension. I will definitely continue the series because the story is great, I just hope things will heat up in the next book.

The narration was good. I wish there was a little more distinction between the voices for the male characters but that would be hard with there being so many.

Gimme more!

I absolutely loved getting to know the five guys. Each are so wonderful no wonder why you would never want to choose! Unfortunately, there were not sexy times in this first book but I loved the build up and seeing them establish themselves in her life. I was fascinated from the very beginning which just made the book fly by. I fell in love with all the characters including the BFF. This seems more like a natural reverse harem, loving the slow burn which is unusual for me. It was also really helpful to have the duel narrations by Lisa and Kale. They help bring the entire story to life before me. Can't get enough!

Great listen!

I really enjoyed this slow burn RH and can’t wait for the next book. Great narrators, I enjoyed both of their performances and the unique voices they used for the characters. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Great Story & Audible Listen🎧4.5 Wonderful🌟Stars!🌟

I loved this book! The fascinating story is original and well written and immediately grabs your attention and holds to the very end! The storylines and characters are interesting and likable. The characters are complex are nicely developed, I am looking forward to learn more about each as the series continues. I love the camaraderie amongst the five men. They have a tough road ahead gaining the trust of the female lead, Emma. This is the 1st book, the author is paving the way for a RH Romance, other than a dream sequence there was no RH action in this book. This a slow burn and I looking forward to see their relationships grow. Also curious to see where some of the other storylines go, would love to see some redemption on the Jeremy front. Bethany Jadin, thank you for this awesome story!

I listened to the Audible edition, the narrators, Lisa Zimmerman and Kale Williams, are awesome storyteller and voice performers . They bring the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thank you for the great listen!

That was the ending?

I have been waiting for this book to come out on audible for a long time! I have heard so much good stuff. It was so worth the wait! Except, I was very disappointed in how the book ended. It was a very odd spot to end the book. So a little disappointed in that, but, nonetheless, I can’t wait for the second to be out!

First of a series full of anticipation

This first book of The Code series was everything the blurb promised it would be. Lovely and brilliant Emma struggles to make ends meet while working on her new code. Five stunning and talented CEOs are intrigued by her unique work and try everything in their power to get closer to her. The story is full of anticipation of what's coming, the tension of something bigger happening behind the scenes is palpable. There is a great deal of sexual tension but the connection between the characters are building up step-by-step which is fortunate as it leaves ample time the story to unfold and for the reader to get to know the characters better. I liked this book and am definitely interested in the next one.

I loved the narration by Lisa Zimmerman and Kale Williams. They both did an excellent work. I loved their pace, the voices they used. They both have a very pleasant tone which I enjoyed very much. The recording quality was excellent too.

I loved it!

When five hot guys approach computer whiz Emma at a tech industry gala with an offer for the security software she's working on, she doesn't think for one moment she'd find herself attracted to ALL of them. But that's what happens in this exciting reverse harem story.
Vested Interest: The Code, Book 1 has great characters, and the delicious slow burn of the storyline as Emma gets to know the sexy owners of the tech giant Pentabyte makes it a joy to read. It's a great first book by the duo that is Bethany Jadin. I loved it and can't wait to find out what happens next. If you like RH reads then you won't want to miss it!

What A Tease!

This author really knows how to tease us! This is supposed to be a Reverse Harem and thus far, we have experienced a whole lot of chemistry and very well written attraction but our characters haven't experienced any fireworks. I am very intrigued to see where this author is going to take our characters romantically as well as in their professional lives. This is only the beginning and I am super excited for more!

Perfect narration from these two narrators, they seem to be well matched and a good fit for the story and characters. I would like to hear more voice differentiation for each of the guys when it is their point of view. I wasn't able to fully distinguish which of the guy's point of view we were in based on the voice alone, but I am willing to overlook it because I know it is a difficult feature to pull off in a reverse harem.
