Excellent sequel
8 years after Holly, Gabriel and Jin escape with the item they have dubbed the "holy grail", Gabe accidentally brings attention to their whereabouts and a group of mercenaries mean to take it from them. An unknown ally helps them escape and hunt down the group, but nothing could prepare the trio for the truth. The truth about history, the truth about the " grail".
This is book 2 in the series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone. As I listened back to back after book 1, it did take me a little while to get to grips with change of narrator but this was still a great listen.

While this is book 2 in the series I feel it could be read and understood as a stand-alone
It’s so so lovely to catch up and spend time with the characters again
The book moved at lightning speed full of action and top class adventure I was totally hooked to find out what would happen next
The story feels well researched and detailed I loved the fantasy aspects
I would love to see this ultimately made into a movie I hope there will be more …..
