About this listen
When Mr. Darcy left Hertfordshire after Charles Bingley's proposal to Jane Bennet, he promised to return in 10 days. When he breaks that promise due to events outside of his control, Elizabeth Bennet is left abandoned for over a year, finally joining the Bingley household as the second unmarried sister under Charles' protection. An invitation to Pemberley brings out the merry match-making mischief as everyone has a plan for their future happiness. Caroline is convinced Mr. Darcy has loved her all this time, Mr. Darcy struggles to seek Elizabeth's forgiveness, and Elizabeth just wishes to make it through this visit without constantly embarrassing herself. There's no better season for miracles, even if it takes a few elves to make them happen!
This is a sweet, holiday-inspired Pride and Prejudice fan fiction.

Painful to listen to
Unfortunately, terrible narration destroyed most of the pleasure in this enjoyable short story. While I would have preferred an English accent for a story like this, the main problem is the ear-gratingly bad character voices. In future I'll stick to EAW's stories on kindle, as unfortunately NP is the narrator on all of them.

Heart warming
A perfect tale to ward off the gloom of dark winter days and leave you with a beaming smile just in time for Christmas. While I originally found the narrator’s voice distracting, I found speeding up the narration slightly improved things immeasurably and greatly heightened my enjoyment of the story. I do hope that all of Ms West’s audiobooks become available on audible very soon. Thank you for the escape. :>)
