Summary

Two young women are stabbed to death in Tyneside. But what's the connection?

After a trip to the coast, Agnes Lockwood is shocked when she finds a young woman tucked away behind the litter bins in Newcastle Central Station. DCI Alan Johnson and Sergeant Andrews quickly set up an investigation.

They soon learn that this is only the first case of its kind, when another stabbing takes place on the Newcastle quayside. Naturally, Agnes is keen to help with the investigation.

DCI Johnson insists that she stays away from the case, but Agnes has never been a woman to be put off so easily.

Vengeance

This third Agnes Lockwood Mystery is like the previous books in the series an addictive listen. It's like meeting up with old friends. Once again Agnes is drawn into a murder investigation and her interfering ways mean she endangers both herself and the investigation at times. Why her on off boyfriend Alan put's up with her I don't know. LOL! Deborah Balms narration is excellent bring all the characters to life. Highly recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.

Here we go again.

The author Eileen Thornton continues with an excellent story like all her mysteries.

I have no idea how CSI Officer Alen keeps making the biggest mistake courting miss’s Lockwood, it’s always her way or no way, a little argument and the supposed love is gone, I truly don’t know how a man can live with someone like that, breaking the law letting civilians interfere with his investigations would get any officer immediately fired, if it was me I’d run across the world so fast and as far away from her as possible.

I have a feeling that the author Eileen Thornton is very similar to the character or wishes to be.

As usual the narration by Deborah Balm was done beautifully for each of the characters in this story.

Still a good mystery
with a nice spin
after all.

Agnes Lockwood does it again!

The 3rd book in the Agnes Lockwood series is even more thrilling as the amateur sleuth becomes involved with multiple deaths as she tries to prove a young man's Innocence.
