About this listen

The seventh story in the Sins of Mercy series.

Mercy has never considered herself special, which is why she can see right through her coworker’s “flirtations” for what they really are: harassment. After finally putting everyone in their place, Mercy heads home to find the last of the Seven Sinners in her room. Vanity, the Goddess of Self-Absorption, is ready to teach Mercy how to love herself.

But Vanity isn’t very aggressive. If Mercy wants her life back, she’s going to have to take it. Again. And again.

With only one installment left in the Sins of Mercy series, anything is possible. Will Mercy become whole again? Or will the darkness creeping behind her finally take what it wants?

Her soul.

Vanity at Last

Vanity at last
Mercy meets finally Vanity
Mercy is so done with people treating her like shit. Especially Bill! Also, it’s a bit difficult with Daisy the girl she is seeing. When she asks Daisy to be her girlfriend exclusively, Daisy reclines and explains that she is to busy with studying and building her future. She is not sure that she wants an „older“ girlfriend in her life.
When Mercy finally meets „Vanity“ she is in the position to use and not be used. That is a different approach for her. But finally she feels the power of the last Sin.

After the visits from the different sins, mercy’s life is getting back on tack. I am amazed how the different sins are used to help mercy. This book is nicely written. The narration is good too.
