Ghost Hunted
Ghost Haunted
Ghost Trapped
Proving ghosts are real is something Jason Thomas had always dreamed of. Visiting the haunted places he’d been obsessed with since he was a kid, and playing amateur ghost hunters with his best friend Wade, is a passion that’s only grown. As the years passed, Jason's fascination with ghosts was too big to contain, and he'd drag Wade along to different haunted houses or hotels, always hoping to see an actual ghost.
Wade Rivers has always loved spending time with Jason, even if it meant he'd have to endure another creepy, supposedly haunted location. Before he knew it, Wade's feelings for Jason deepened from friendship into something more. Unfortunately, so did his fear of the places Jason wanted to explore.
The chance to spend a weekend alone in a famous haunted house was too much for Jason to resist, and almost too much for Wade to endure. He knew going to the deserted house was everything Jason had ever dreamed of, so Wade tried to put his fears aside. But when strange things start to happen, admitting to Jason how he feels suddenly isn't the scariest thing Wade will encounter.
A friends to lovers, paranormal romantic thriller.

My favourite ghost hunters!
This series is the perfect mix of spooky and romance, there is never a dull moment with Wade and Jason! They start in the first book as friends, with Wade following Jason in his paranormal investigations, but as they find themselves in a haunted house they become more than friends, and as they go on visiting different haunted houses and hotels their adventures become scarier and more outlandish!
I must admit that I am not the bravest reader, so some parts of this series freaked me out a bit, or a lot, but in the end the almost heart-attacks I got at times while listening to Allen Jeffries scratchy voice narrating the scariest scenes was so worth it!

Ghost Hunters
I'm not sure how I've missed this series up to now, but I'm delighted to have found it in this box set that let me listen to the first three books together. In book one, Ghost Hunted, I have to say I totally empathsized with Wade. I could understand how his friendship and desire to be more to Jason could prompt him to follow Jason into the haunted houses but his dislike of the whole idea is exactly what I'd have felt. Then, when things actually start to happen the contrast between Jason's enthsiasm and Wade's caution and sense of self-presevation made for some nice relationship complications. They do get together in the second book, Ghost Haunted, and enter a serious relationship, but Jason sets up their first date at a Halloween haunted house attraction. I think I'd be looking for a new boyfriend if I were Wade, lol. Sheesh, that place creeped me out big time! It does, however, lead our two main characters to some people who have vital information about the reality of the paranormal, about Wade's powers and about some ways to protect themselves emotionally and spiritually. Book Three, Ghost Trapped, sees them putting what they learned in Book Two to the test and discovering that they still have much to learn if they are going to stay in the ghost business and survive. These books show us characters discovering things about themselves and their abilities both as individuals and as a couple and also dealing with paranormal events and entities both benign and dangerous. Allen Jeffries does a great job of making us care about Jason and Wade and bringing the scary parts to vivid life.

Enjoyable Story
The story premise is good and the characters are likeable. The narration was not to my taste.

Great story
It's been quite some time since I read these books and I still love the stories. I found that I picked up a few things I missed in my first time reading. Interesting voice characterisations by the narrator. Surprised to hear a female voice in the 2nd book voicing the female parts. Bit weird though, sounds like the narrator changed voices from book 1 for Wade and Jason. Almost had to stop listening at one point when the narrator did the voice through the Ovilus - it gave me chills. Sometimes a bit difficult to understand what the narrator is saying when he's speaking as Emma. Great books, well written.
