About this listen
Sanden
When it’s your job as groomsman to tell the groom his wedding isn’t happening, the smartest thing to do is get it over and done with and then tell the guests to leave.
Yeah, well, I never said I was smart.
I might...accidentally, maybe on purpose, suggest to Remy that the best form of revenge is to have a party anyway. I mean, he’s already got catering, a DJ, and guests, so what better time to throw a petty party?
My loser high school friend never deserved him anyway. If I’d had the chance, I would have locked Remy down years ago.
Only, when the party leads to a drunken kiss, going on their honeymoon, and sharing their marital bed, I have to say, I’m not entirely sad that their wedding went up in flames.

MM - Trusting in others
Sanden and Remy's complicated is an understatement. Well-written and very emotional, this book tackles a range of issues, from partner abuse to the death of a sibling, work-related PTSD, and jumping into a fresh relationship days after a marriage that didn't happen. It's a huge, complicated mess. The narrative is so engaging that it keeps you hooked from the first page, making it a captivating read.
Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo did an excellent job narrating this book. Their narration brings the story to life, making you feel as if you're right there with the characters. As usual, I did speed up the recording to 1.20 on Audible.

Relay liked it
The story has humor, angst, and plenty of spice.
I had trouble with the voices, sometimes they sounded similar. Take into account that English is not my first language, that could explain it.

wow, that was thought provoking 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have had this book in my TBR list for months now, but I don't know why I put it off, fantasbook, the story was so much more gritty than I expected, the abusive relationship was so well written having witnessed this sort of controlling gaslighting in real life, it was well represented and heartbreaking and unfortunately far too common.
I loved the love between these 2 characters and I do live it when karma is served.
Great narration but i did struggle to tell who who half way through I'm convinced the narrator swapped their voices over..
but it didn't put me off..

Voices are too similar
I never thought I’d have this issue with duet narration but the narrators’s voices are too similar. Half the time I wasn’t sure who’s speaking.
Beyond that, their performances are awesome, don’t get me wrong.
Story is decent.
