Summary

I wanted a family with Cash.

We had dreams - building a house, kids, a dog, and, yes, even the white picket fence.

I don’t remember anything about my husband. Not the wedding or the vows we shared. The past 10 years were erased, but with time, they’re supposed to come back.

But what if this isn’t your typical case of amnesia?

What if I’m not supposed to remember?

What if I was meant to forget?

Maybe I don’t want my old life back.

Because if the accident hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have uncovered the truth.

Losing my memory wasn’t tragic.

Losing my memory was fate.

Heartbreaking

This book breaks your heart into teeny tiny pieces, and then does it’s best to put you back together. The narration is spot on. Sarah Puckett brings a whole new dimension to this story. I have no words. Meadow and Cash’s story broke me. As difficult to listen to it was, you just couldn’t stop. The author’s writing is so rich and descriptive that it just grabs you. What a heartbreaking ride.

Love always find a way

I was intrigued for the moment I read the blurb, and the book didn't disappoint me, it kept me on edge wondering what was going to happen.

I felt so bad for Meadow, having lost her memory and not being able to remember anything but some things from her childhood, you could feel the desperation, the confused feelings.

And as the book starts to unravel more things start making sense and everything falls into place, and you'll learn that true love will always find a way to be there and will find you even when things doesn't look promising.

The narrattion by Sarah Pukett was perfect she makes you being able to feel all the emotions the characters are going through, her tone and pace for each are really good.

Overall it was a good book a little bit heartwrenching and heartwarming, that you'll need to keep reading to find out what is going on.

Good Listen

Meadow has lost her memory and can not cope and turns to drinking. She hates the life that she is living and drinking is how she copes. She ends up in rehab and everything changes. She learns things that she doesn't know if it's real or fake and she realizes that she has been lied to and is living a lie. She must now battle to get her memory and her life back. Good dual Narration.

So emotional

This book was not what I expected I am new to Gia Riley so had no clue of her style. I adored this story it was so well told. It follows meadow who has lost her memory of her husband and her life before an accident. Her Husband Cash is doing his best to help her remember but nothing seems to work. I found the story very emotional and how Meadow talks about wanting to remember but also if she can't wanting Cash to love the person she is now. So many things happen to poor Meadow and when help seems to come things just get more complicated.

I will be listening to the other books by Gia Riley as I really did enjoy this one so much.

Sarah Puckett is one of my favourite female narrators she just brings the story to life and draws you in. Her voice is mesmerizing and she gets the male voices spot on. This is such a great book well worth your time,x

Brilliant!

Wow, this book pulled me in form the beginning. It kept me questioning and on my toes guessing what was going on. It was like an emotional roller coaster and I loved every second of trying to figure it all out. I couldn't figure out if Cash was a good guy or not. I don't want to give to much away but I would definitely recommend this book. It's so good. 🎧AudiobookObsession

Until We are Gone

This was the first book I’ve read/listened to by Gia Riley. While the plot line had a lot of potential and the amnesia aspect was a big draw I felt like all the twisting and turning left me unable to really side with one character or the other. In the end they were all unlikable for different reasons, but I still felt more for Cash than Meadow.

The audio by Sarah Puckett was well done, I’ve listened to a few of her narrations and they have all been solid.

Pulled me in

WOW, what a ride! I went into this book blindly as I love Gia Riley and was completely surprised. Not exactly suspense, but the build up was incredible. Meadow is in a terrible car crash and when she comes to, has no recollection of her life. Her husband Cash is there to help her, and does his best to get her back on track, but something doesn't seem right. And from there we get a story like no other. I can't imagine having no inkling as to who I am, what I like, and who I know, let alone not recognize my husband. Riley portrays Meadow in a way that sometimes I like her and sometimes I am frustrated with her, exactly as she is going through the motions of her life. I love her dreams, and when the new man pops in them, can't wait to see where they will lead. Written from 3 points of view, the story is full of angst, exasperation, suffering, and finally some closure. I was caught up in the story and had to keep listening to find out what really happened, and would Meadow get her memory back. A great addition to the story is Mimi too, though I think I am just soft when it comes to the grandmother type characters. Full of good advice and that warmth we love, Mimi is awesome.

Sarah Puckett recounts this story in such a way that I was drawn in from the start. She had me feeling sorry for Cash, then frustrated and so invested in Meadow's recovery that I couldn't stop listening. She brings it all, full of emotion and voices so clear and passionate, it's like I know these people. She brings out the best in this story and kept me on the edge.

Until We are Gone

I can only assume how terrifying it can be to wake up from an accident and remember no one. This book is so realistic with the struggle that comes with this situation and I loved the way it worked it’s way through the problem. Beautifully written and narration is perfect for this. The book gives us the perfect happy ever after.

Wow ... what a heart tugging book!!

At the beginning of this book, I found myself hurting so badly for Cash and what he was going through after Meadows accident. I couldn’t imagine loving someone and being put in a this situation! I can’t say why, but I changed my opinion of him... and of her as the story moved on! Gia Riley is a wonderful storyteller and has a way of making you feel everything the characters felt throughout the story. This is such a great book and I recommend highly!

Sarah Puckett.. you are a master with voices and projecting feelings into your narrations! I love listening to you!
