Love the Realness of This Book
My hat goes off to Grace Monroe for sharing her own personal experiences and insights on the struggles of trauma and addiction. I have suffered my share of troubles with both as well, so I was really looking for a book that would make me feel so understood and not alone. I am a huge fan of building community and shared healing. No one should have to go through such turmoil alone. I highly urge anyone that is looking for a start on their healing journey to add this to their cart and press play. You will not be disappointed.

Understanding trauma
This book lays down the pivotal foundation for understanding trauma and the coping mechanisms associated with the trauma. Through the case studies, listeners gain insight into the relationship between past negative experiences and the maladaptive behaviors victims later developed. I guess we are all somewhat traumatized, but collectively, as a society, if we can understand ourselves better and heal our past wounds, we can stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma.
