Summary
Revenge and fate come together in the seventh installment of the Pyte/Sentinel series as New York Times best-selling author R.L. Mathewson tells the story of how one of the deadliest shifters in our world is finally brought to his knees.
The plan was simple. Keep her safe, out of his way, and focus on the only thing that mattered.
He didn’t need her, didn’t want her, and...he couldn’t stop thinking about her. No matter how many times Kale tries, he can’t stay away from her, and god, does he try. With a bounty on his head and shifters, demons, and vampires doing everything they could to find him, the last thing that Kale needs is to fall in love with his mate. This wasn’t supposed to happen. No one was supposed to find her. At least, that was the plan, but somehow the incredibly sexy shifter that loved to glare had found her, and now...
She was finally where she belonged. The only problem was, Ashley had no idea why, but she wasn’t going to complain. Not when things were finally starting to make sense. What she was going to do was pretend that the shifter that hated her didn’t make her want things that she couldn’t have. She just needed to lay low, pretend that she had no idea why anyone would be after her, and hope that her secrets didn’t tear them apart.

Great next part of the story
Loved Kales book. Can’t wait for Jill’s book!
It’s a shame that the narrator mispronounced main characters name.

Poor book
This book had potential, but it was all over the place, and the delivery was terrible. It chopped and changed between people and places, and some of the best action happened off page which was very strange. I struggled to get into this book and I found it frustrating.
Also, why do so many characters have names beginning with a C or K sound? Got all the name choices in the world and they choose loads that sound really similar on an audiobook. Cael, Cade, Cain, Kara, Chris…
Think I might give up with this author as I’ve struggled with a few of their books lately.

Should have kept the original narrator
I’ve waited a long time for the release of this audio book but was very disappointed. There were too many storylines to follow and probably would have been better having a shorter book and waiting for the next one. The narrator probably would have done a better job if she had listened to the previous books, that way she would have at least known how to pronounce the characters names as they have been in the previous books, but it was obvious she had no previous knowledge of them. Overall I was very disappointed
