Summary
Zoey Cohen spent a lifetime learning to hide disappointment and loss behind a mask of unshakeable calm and control, even when her longtime friend-with-benefits lover moves on for true love.
Declan Black returns to Philadelphia Medical Center after an accident costs her the life she’d built and her career. She’s resolved to protect herself from ever being vulnerable to past mistakes by rebuilding her life around her new role as an ER attending, and that life does not include love.
Zoey will never accept second place in matters of the heart, even when her rival is a career, and Dec has nothing left to give - of herself or her heart. Sometimes change is a force more powerful than will.

Definitely worth a credit and one I could listen a
Narrator was a little quick and high for my liking but slowed it to .95 and it was a good listen. Would've got a full 5 stars if Abby Craden was narrating. Well worth the credit.

Last Radclyffe I'll ever buy
I didn't even finish this book. The story was a tired repeat of the last 30 books Radclyffe has written. Perfectly perfect characters with sad pasts, dead exes and amazing abs falling in love within seconds of seeing each other but holding back because 'oh no I am too sad and broken to love or be loved'. Rad needs to consider changing the game because this is just not it anymore.
Didn't like the narrator either, she way she speaks just doesn't gel nicely with the ear and she has a strange lilt to her accent that makes it sound like she's reading a news story. Definitely wouldn't read anything by her again, sorry!
0/10 for everything from characters to plot to narration.
