About this listen
No matter what you want to achieve, Unleash Your Power of Experimentation: A Timeless Strategy to Live Your Potential provides a bulletproof system that teaches you how small and consistent effort will lead to life-transforming results by using the scientific method. Gabriela Drescher, a continuous improvement coach, entrepreneur, and engineer by trade, will help you discover what you want in life and the scientific framework through which to achieve it.
Many people experience dissatisfaction with life because what they do in their professional and personal life does not align with their values and dreams. Other people are not even certain what they want out of life, what vision they should strive toward, and what they value in themselves and others.
Through practical advice and captivating anecdotes of her own life and that of other successful people who've used the scientific method, Drescher will help you find your vision and give you the tools necessary to reach it.
About the Author
Gabriela Drescher is an engineer by trade and a dedicated member of the Professional Engineers Ontario. She's also a Six Sigma Black Belt professional, certified by the American Society of Quality.
Her vision is to live a life of authenticity, inner harmony, freedom, and adventure. Coming to Canada, succeeding in the engineering field as an immigrant woman, overcoming her struggles with a life-threatening illness and a failing marriage, finding her first engineering job on foreign land, and raising children while pursuing a professional career have been some of the many steps she’s taken toward living this vision.
As a continuous improvement trainer and coach, Drescher used the scientific method of experimentation every day to affect her work and personal life significantly. For almost 20 years, she has been training and coaching businesses to focus on the long-term vision, set goals aligned to that vision, and work on achieving targets toward their vision using the foundational element of scientific thinking, where we learn from trying and failing, then try again based on what we learned.
As an entrepreneur, Drescher has provided online training and simulation games in the continuous improvement field to hundreds of companies and dozens of universities and colleges all over the world.
During the workshops, she gave ample examples from her own life to help bring to life the strategy based on the scientific method of experimentation, and the response from the participants has been excellent because they were able to relate to that and bring forward their own stories. Thus she realized that this strategy applies also to life itself and can be used successfully for self improvement.
This book is Drescher’s way of sharing all she has learned by using the method of scientific thinking in a way that will hopefully transform your life.
You will learn:
- What your values, non-values, and vision for life are, and why they matter
- What your current circumstances are and how assessment of your current condition is the prerequisite to success
- How to use the scientific method to set the right goals and why that matters
- How to conduct personal experiments through the scientific method that will help you complete goals and get closer to your vision
You can't deny that there is a feeling that makes your chest tighten from time to time. The feeling of knowing you are not living the life you want and that you could be doing so much more. It's never too late to change the course of your life, but it's better to take action now before this lack of fulfillment wears you down.
