Unintended is a story for the heart. Kyra Lennon is my go-to when I’m looking for something a little deeper.

Two people meet by chance not realising in those few crucial minutes a lifetime can be changed.

Ash is in an unhealthy relationship with his girlfriend Natalie. To the outside world the answer is simple. Get out before it’s too late, but from the inside Ash feels down. Natalie is all he has. He loves her and wants to be happy with her.

Evie is trying to repair her life. The ghost of her past is now haunting her and causing everyday simple tasks to fill her with dread. Life goes on even if it’s not the path you would have chose.

These two people are lost. Finding each other is just the beginning. Having a link, a connection to someone can start a spark. A new beginning.

This is a slow burn romance. It does have triggers. There is domestic violence. There also talks of grief. Ash and Evie knot together the holes which can never be taken away. It’s difficult to write a review about a book that offers so much and my review is only a glimpse into this story. I love the umbrella theme which runs through the book. The emotional weather adds to the mood. I loved every minute of this. It’s intense. Emotional.
