Let go of what others think
A very well-narrated and structured audible that provides comfort, advice and everything else you need to navigate this scary world. The chapter that was the stand out for me, was chapter 4 - letting go of what others think. Written with such experience and heart felt promise, you finish the chapter almost having a complete mindset shift and a weight off my shoulders that I had been carrying for so long. Every chapter provides nuggets of incredibly useful and comforting information - highly recommended.

Excellent book🌈
It’s perfect timing for a book such as this when so many innocents are still being chastised for who they naturally are. I love the heart of the book on promoting self acceptance for who you are. Being authentic to yourself is what matters. People who reject you are only rejecting themselves. We all mirror one another. So love yourself and let love be mirrored from you. You were born as you are, you have a wonderful purpose and your a freaking beautiful just as you are. As an ally, I celebrate the courage in the LGBTQ community. Never hide your shine bring greatness to the world. I love this book. I was left inspired and empowered to love more and love myself more. Thank you so much for this beautifully written breath of fresh air. The narrator really brought the book to life❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Powerful message
This book is perfect for the evolving society that we live in today. We all need to learn from this book and be more accepting of the views of others and how they identify. Pride is a big factor when it comes to this topic, and it can be a sensitive one. However with more books like this and events to bring people closer I believe that respect and peace and be achieved.

Helpful
This book's depth of analysis and consideration amplifies the author’s purpose of self-compassion. This a helpful manual for those who are discovering their true selves and identifying themselves. It also helped me have a deeper awareness of this societal issue and taught me how to support and encourage those who are experiencing gender identity difficulties. Great book, I highly recommend!

A great resource to find your inner strength
I know the book is aimed at LGBTQ, but I think it can be helpful to many people who are trying to stop depending on people's opinions. It's hard for old people like me to fight this feeling. Very well-written and engaging. At one point, I even thought I was ready to be myself. Maybe I need to hear it again to build up my courage. I highly recommend listening to it.

A refreshing recount of real
It is not often that I find such an honest narrative that has the potential to impact lives in a meaningful way. I see that the target audience is LGBTQ teens and adults but I feel this empowering message should be heard by all.
This audiobook is a potential lifesaver for those who are struggling to navigate other people’s discriminatory reactions and emotions. Chapter 4: It’s Okay to let go of What Others Think is particularly empowering. This is the book for you if you have esteem issues because of whatever differences people may perceive in you. This is the book for you if you want to overcome hate and negativity from people in your surroundings. Grab a copy if you want to find love of self and freedom from harmful influences and attitudes. Such a great text!

Empowering
My sister got me this book to educate me and to "Keep up with the times". As a member of the LGBTQ+ community herself, she wanted me to listen to this to understand where she is coming from and her point of view. I was blown away, particularly in Chapter 4 which i thoroughly enjoyed as there was many nuggets that stood out and i can use for my everyday living. It also teaches you the power of self love and self acceptance, which can be beneficial for all of us
