About this listen
Is your body an asshole? Does it keep you up at night, crave nonstop French fries and ice cream, and try to convince you that exercise is evil? Does it develop weird illnesses and pains for no apparent reason and run out of energy just when you need it the most? Does having a body at all fill you with uncomfortable emotions?
Enter Dr. Faith G. Harper, therapist, nutritionist, and bestselling author of Unf--k Your Brain. She explains the emerging science of the gut-brain connection and the vagus nerve so that everyone can understand what’s going on in your body and how to make friends with it again, especially if you’ve experienced trauma or chronic stress. Filled with straight talk and practical exercises so you can reconnect with your physical needs and reactions, work through body shame, manage illness and disability, and implement small changes that make a huge difference in how you feel every day. You are a whole person, and it’s time to reconnect with yourself!

it didn't worth my coin.
the book is really good, but I couldn't finished it as it was really to mich to listening it, too many stupid and not appropriate words for the subject, like call shxx a meditation time.
And the voice of the narrators are really annoyed.
This is the first book that I really enjoy the topic that I haven't be able to finish for voice and vulgar intervention.

Nice well rounded look on improving health
Reinforced alot of information heard in other narratives.
Would recommend ultra process people to those who like this.
Narration was a bit annoying fair amount of casual misandry too.

An ADHD nightmare
Thankfully I didn’t purchase this book, just listened on Audible plus. I don’t mind swearing but this sounds like it’s being narrated by a teenager who has just learned her first swear words. I have ADHD and I struggled to keep my attention on this book, it was very circular, lots of repetition and I kept hoping she would just get to the point. Didn’t manage to finish it, the second half may be better.

Awful. Sounds like it’s written and narrated by a teenager
I guess the author is going for the edgy “aren’t I so cool” approach, similar to “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck” except sounding like an idiot child.
Even at the price of free with plus, this was not worth my time.
