Summary
Mitchell Roth is a billionaire hedge fund mastermind whose life turns into a nightmare in the blink of an eye. But his fate is just the tip of the iceberg of a larger and more sinister plot lurking beneath the surface.
Now he’s framed for insider trading, and Mitchell becomes the target of a ruthless manhunt that involves powerful government agencies and those he trusts. Turned into a hunted fugitive, Mitchell transgresses the boundary between right and wrong. His only chance to make it out alive is to fight back with his financial expertise, money laundering skills, and even murder.
But he’s not alone in this deadly game. An unexpected ally—Detective Barrett Johnson—a former SEC Detective and war veteran, joins forces with Mitch to unravel the conspiracy that is behind his downfall.
The spiral of violence explodes beyond the foreseeable while the scheme is unraveled. The enemy is powerful, the odds are against them, and the clock is ticking. Roth and Johnson must survive long enough to expose the truth.
If you like John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, and Ian Fleming, you won't be able to put down the compulsively addictive Johnson Files series.
Critic reviews
"Back when I used to read John LeCarre novels, I always found his adventures fascinating, but thought that the knowledge that LeCarre was giving the reader was too sophisticated sometimes. I felt like I wanted to just enjoy the adventure and not feel like I was taking a crash course on deep state and espionage. With Max Sinclair’s Undisclosed Location, I found the perfect combination. Sinclair gives us a fascinating adventure, and plenty of information on how corruption corrupts completely. But instead of feeling like I’m not up to the task, I am able to take the ride and find myself imagining what I would do if I was in the protagonist’s shoes. Kudos to this awesome novel!"
