About this listen

"Under the Midnight Sky" invites listeners to join Colin, Joshua, David, and Nate as they celebrate Pride Month on a week-long gay Alaska cruise. Against the backdrop of glaciers and starlit nights, both couples renew the love and friendship that drew them together.

Joshua, supported by Colin's love and faith in him, is guided through healing waters by a humpback whale, discovering the courage to face his fears. Colin's passion for the law and dedication to justice are showcased when ship security needs help solving an on-board crime. David, the stoic professor of Revolutionary War History, gets in touch with his inner party animal, goaded on by his friends and his mischievous husband. And Nate's vibrant personality shines on the dance floor as he and David captivate all onlookers and walk away winners!

This tale of love, healing, and wonder draws readers into a magical journey under Alaska's midnight sky, where love grows ever stronger, joy becomes contagious, fears are conquered, and the bonds of friendship are renewed.

"Under the Midnight Sky" celebrates love in all its forms amid the incredible beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.

Interesting

4.5 stars. Excellent performance, the longer pieces without much action were just as good as when things happened. The Alaskan scenery and animals were beautifully described, with lots of detail. The characters were really sweet although being woken up by different people pounding on the door every morning got even me frustrated. I have had this author on my tbr pile for quite some time, and definitely need to move these books up as I really want to know more about these intriguing people (this book did work fine as a standalone).
