Always learning something useful
Being a person of usual acquaintance with everyday life, including work, relationships and dreams I found this book a reinforcement that everyone who is willing to try and do will succeed in business (and indeed anything you put your mind to). It's not just insightful business strategy - which does relate to investing in property and investing in yourself in whatever business or industry you work within - it's a way of thinking and approaching decision making. With a twist of genuine humour (I had at least three lol moments) this book will encourage and inspire you to look at how you do things and make changes that are either proven to work or proven to give you results you did not expect. It's a recommended listen.
Many thanks Mark
Joe

uncommonly good
I'm a big fan of Mark Homer's and regularly listen to his podcasts, read his tweets and look out for his videos and economics analysis. But even as a big fan I found this audio book very interesting and most importantly useful and inspiring.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in working on themselves with the aim of making themselves wealthier. It's a first class book.

Great informative and compelling book
Read clearly and interesting he shares some great advice on starting businesses and investing. Explains common misconceptions clearly in simple terms you can understand and how to deal with them. Provides some real actionable insights and interesting ideas. Worth a read even if you're not interested in investing or starting up your own business. Best book I've read in a while.

A cracker!!
Another cracking book from Mark Homer. This was a great follow on from his low cost high life book. This book is 1/2 mindset and 1/2 investment advice and does a great job in telling you when to react to certain situations and when to ignore the mass media dramatic headlines that scare the masses away. A great read, and one to add to the list of entertaining investment books (of which there are very few that can have both good substance and an entertaining delivery)
Loved it.

Wonderful narrative of the contrarian investor
Would you listen to UnCommon Sense again? Why?
Greatly resonated with me on so many levels. Mark has a way of engaging with the reader/listener and conveying his experiences in a very relevant and articulate manner, and not devoid of humour!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I enjoyed the entire book - very absorbing
What about Peter Baker’s performance did you like?
The narrator is highly engaging and positioned the tone very well, complementing Mark's character very well.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! - but managed to listen to it in 2 long trail runs at 1.5x speed!!!
Any additional comments?
Awesome, thoroughly recomended.

Excellent
Different to what I'm use to. Nothing quite like this on the market which is a good thing. Nice to hear something different for a change. Great content and the narrator is comfortable on the ears. Would highly recommend to the serious investor
