Summary
A sexy, friends-to-lovers, second-chance romance with a twist by USA Today best-selling author Tia Louise.
To be “just friends” with a guy, you’ve got to follow The Rules:
Don’t touch him unnecessarily.
Don’t share your intimate dreams with him (even if he asks).
Don’t kiss him, and definitely don’t sleep with him.
Scout Dunne and I have been “just friends” since childhood.
He’s everything you could want - sexy, charming, confident - every girl’s wet dream.
Until we broke The Rules.
We broke them in the ocean, in my aunt’s bathroom, in my bed....
It was the hottest week of my life.
I’m one of the few people who knows the first-round NFL draft pick wants more than a life of sports.
Because we’re friends, right?
Not anymore.
Now he’s gone, and I’m trying to get my career back on track.
Mamma said a guy would never put your dreams ahead of his.
But the twist of fate?
It’s something you never see coming.
Twist of Fate is a stand-alone friends-to-lovers, single-parent romance. No cheating. No cliffhanger.

Wow
So I’m going to start this by saying Scout and Daisy were so gorgeously cute, and they had so much chemistry an absolute amazing amount of chemistry. This was an absolute delight to listen to even if I regularly wanted to shake some sense into the main characters. The narration was also spot on which I found just really pushed it to the next level for me.

Emotions were spot on
I couldn’t put it down and spent half of a night awake, reading instead of sleeping. That’s how engrossed I was with the story and the characters.
I was intrigued by Scout since I discovered him in This much is true. He was so kind and good natured, but with a backstory that wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine. His love life was hinted at, and I couldn’t wait to learn more about Daisy. I wasn’t disappointed.
The two of them together are the bomb. They have an intense–if short–intimate relationship coupled with a strong friendship. Their feelings grew fast, and having read This much is true, I knew their relationship wouldn’t last and what was going to happen to Scout. It had me on the edge of my seat. I rooted for them. And let’s just say their reunion is everything and then some.
I felt some secondary characters could have been used more and better, but there were already a lot of them–if the story focuses on Daisy and Scout, they aren’t alone in the world, and we meet with a bunch of colorful characters. I highly recommend to read This much is true first for an enhanced experience, but this book is one you don’t want to miss either.
I loved the audiobook! Maybe the male narrator sounded a bit older than I imagined Scout, but his emotions were spot on. As for the female narrator, she was great. Good quality audiobook!

Scout & Daisy
I love falling in love and Tia Louise is always one I know I will have that with. Scout and Daisy were high school friends. Scout wanted more, but Daisy was not ready. College is over, they are back home and Scout is looking to break into acting. But the fire between these two still burns. Giving in to the passion, the two have a no strings attached affair and when it's time for Scout and Daisy to part ways again, they do. Now Scout is back again, and he has a mission. He wants Daisy. Four years have passed though, and will she still be there, willing and available? A lot can happen in that time. Secrets held, reputations to overcome, true love never dying, these two have a lot to get through. Listen to see what happens! I love this couple! Daisy is a sweet girl, and her confidence and friends keep her happy and secure. But you know she still yearns for Scout. Scout is sweet and has been dealt a tough hand in Hollywood. Will his career get in the way of his happily ever after? Easy on the ears and a great story made this audio total entertainment.
Narrated by the fabulous team of Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor, the characters easily came to life. I love both of these seasoned narrators and truly enjoyed their performance.

Wonderful
I enjoyed this book. Though I got lost in the middle ! The author eventually wheeled it back to the center and told the story. Narrators carry the story live. Sebastian is always great but I sometimes fail to connect with Samantha in some parts.
I would recommend this anytime and will listen again.
Thank you 😊
