They meet new people, new friends, new enemies, and encounter unusual races and creatures, and along the way, they accumulate more power, and build up their war potential.
With their greater strength, it was finally time to slowly push back, and take the battle against the demons to the other realms, and also to the demon worlds.

I'll be as simple as possible.
this one was a resounding okay, overall. It gives exactly what is advertised in the blurb, inter planetry counter invasion of ghe demon worlds while providing more info on the cycle and seeing new worlds. What I like is Aeons slow perspective shift to be more like Lillie's. How the pointless squabbles the nobles are having are just beneath him, cause he's seen it before over the decades again and again and takes a back seat to focus in the real treat, the demons.
HOWEVER, the other characters like the valthorns show almost no level of development with their increasing age. like I legit forgot alot of the heroes are reaching 80 yet still behave like teenagers, being a walking trope dictionary isn't an interesting character.
Besides that, the concept of tree inter plantery warfare is interesting enough to have me maybe still want to be invested in the series.
