Eva Kavinsky wakes in a dark cellar, with no memory of how she got here. Imprisoned with her, seemingly at random, are four men. The only way out is the trapdoor in the ceiling – and it's locked.

Not at all what I expected. you'll need tissues but it's well worth it. the voice actors were perfection.

gripping
Read lots of JP's books and this was full of twists and turns. Not the ended I thought it would be! You may need a few tissues along the way too.

Great narration,
Good story with just the occasional straying into the realms of silliness. It kept my interest all the way through and was excellently performed - I only realised how well when I reached the end and reflected that I’d believed all the characters

Got me interested from the get go
Great interesting story and very well read. So far every single Australian audio book I listened to was a good experience.
I’d recommend this book. Well thought out well paced storyline and great narration. I also think the author chose the best ending for the story leaving the reader both optimistic and positive and equally somewhat sad.

Well narrated, great storyline, and kept me listening. Lots of twists and turns. I love this author and this title is just as good as the others.

Gripping!
Good story. A couple of characters were superfluous to the story, and the end dragged a bit, but a good yarn that keeps it interesting. Worth a listen.

It wasn’t bad for a free listen but what started out as very good and had me hooked had me fasting it on at a higher speed to get through it from the middle to the end.

Great listen and better because….
It was free. However I’d have been happy to pay for it and will look for more by this author and Harriet the narrator i particularly like. Great all round and short ish story.

Hooked from the beginning!
I liked the story line, and enjoyed the way the story unfolds throughout. Well narrated and kept me hooked all the way through. Even better that it’s included! Have downloaded the others!
