About this listen
He thought death was the end. He was wrong. His death was the beginning of a path with the potential for infinite power.
One moment William was at work, and the next, he was surrounded by lunatics wanting to sacrifice his soul.
He had never been a man who believed in the fantastical, but he had no choice after he found himself in a much younger body in another world. A world that had things like soul extraction and demonic cultivators, and if nothing was done, his soul was next in line to be reaped.
Thankfully, a man with a special hatred for demonic cultivators saved William at the last second.
The man also left him a tool. A system that would guide William to the heights of cultivation.

how to say it
good classic idea but unfortunately not well written. the MC is a bit of an idiot. apparently he is supposedly older than his teen but he is acting like a puberty strike teen with no life experience at all. random burst of anger, staring at pretty girls, tongue tight and getting annoyed when he is trying to hit some one and getting kicked in return. the whole setup that the MC is knowledgeable about cultivation is not really seen. the stats and math is good and basic but repeated to often (yea if he has 10 hp and takes 6 dmg the MC got 4 hp left when don't need it spelt out with a complete or half stat read out).

the main character being absolutely useless
listen I'm all for the weak becoming the strong but I'm halfway through the book and I absolutely hate the main character. I could go into detail but literally one of the worst MC's everything about him just makes me lose interest in listening the way he sucks up to everybody. apparently he's reads cultivation novels has no sort of understanding of the world but we are constantly reminded he reads them can never put two and two together. just loves to get walked all over without opening his mouth and I get the danger involved but in certain situations like where he's being tortured by the guy who's meant to be healing him without a word. but then thinks about standing up to somebody's power who we can't even see for a random person who he's known for about an hour using him and taking advantage of him. Just seems to pick and choose when to take advice when told he could have been kidnapped or killed he completely dismisses it . a cultivation attribute tool blows up and he thinks it's because he's too weak how would that even make any sense but apparently he reads novels.
