So Tori has a choice: work with the big, brawny, and annoyingly hot DEA agent . . . or watch more innocent people die.
Tori's the only person who can help Deck break the case, and they'll need to trust each other, no matter how high the tension and attraction sizzling between them run. Good story
Dogs, opioid crisis subject line with enough medical accuracy to be enjoyable for a medic, an interesting story line, twists and turns and a little spice. I’m looking for the next title in the series now

ok
The dog was the best part of the story. The mystery was interesting enough, but I had an inclination towards the answers pretty early on.
Unfortunately the smex was truly underwhelming, lukewarm at best, and I felt like pressing the snooze button. The narrator's voice wasn't great either, so I probably would have liked more if I had read it instead of listening to it.
