To Suffer, to Endure, to Survive tells the story of how a young girl suffered abuse throughout her childhood. She endured mental and physical abuse at the hands of her mother. The only thing she wanted was the unconditional love her mother gave to her siblings. What she received instead was constant beatings and cruel insults that sometimes made her want to give up hope. Linda pushed through life, from adolescence to adulthood, attempting to win her mother's love. Along the way, she experienced heartache and disappointment from the men in her life that she trusted to protect and love her.
