A fantastic sequel that didn't disappoint

Just like The Missed Kiss, the writing in To Kiss you Again flowed beautifully. Moving the story forward with ease and at a good pace. "Just one more chapter" I repeatedly told myself!

I never thought i'd laugh or grin this much during a romance novel, but it's always nice to be proven wrong. Not sure what to do with myself this evening as I miss the vibrant characters already.

My only criticism is when Lily put the Nutella jar in the recycling without washing it first. That's the only fault I could find the whole book!

Fav Read and Listened

Although I’m still missing the voices from the first book which I listened to on audible I could still hear the voices in my head as my favourite characters are back. Lily Lily Lily just when I thought your romance couldn’t get anymore turbulent than what it did on the first book I was so very very wrong. Already having an emotional connection to this series it was so easy to get so lost in the pages.

From the very beginning my heart hurt. I had forgotten how much I love Cassie, I need a best friend like Cassie. I think I preferred reading this the further I got into the story I loved reading the text messages and picturing the conversations taking place between the characters. In the middle of your relationship evolving house hunting and potentially planning a wedding the pang of jealousy is hard to ignore. I still was pretty much team Luke.

I think I loved how this book felt so relevant in the now reading about Christmas and the New Year struggles. There’s so much uplifting moments in this one, just like the first but so many shocking moments too. This author is incredible she’s talented with the poetry built into the pages throughout also. I hope this isn’t the last book because I’m not ready to let go of Lily yet.

If you love a book that keeps you on your toes, that keeps you second guessing everything, that makes you think what you would do if you was that person. This is definitely the read for you. Love, lust, friendships and so much more. Absolutely fantastic. I still think I might have to listen to this one when I get round to it. It’s not the same driving to work without their voices.

The sequel does not disappoint

This review contains spoilers - it would be impossible to review otherwise.
Having always been #teamluke I was a little disappointed in the outcome of the first book, but something told me that Luke would prevail, so I just had to listen to the sequel.
And I wasn't disappointed. All our favourite characters are back, and even some we weren't overly fond of (I'm looking at you, Anna). I enjoyed the style and the author voice. The story built up nicely to the big reveal, and then to the aftermath, and eventual satisfying conclusion.
I will be looking for more books from this author.
The narration was professional and entertaining.

Great sequel but the narrator was not for me

Loved this sequel to Nicola Lowe's debut but could not get fully on board with the American narration. The story is set in Manchester, UK and when I read the books I read them in a Northern UK accent in my head. The audio book still lets Lowe's writing shine through but I would have preferred a British reader.
