About this listen

The Night King is dead, and his killer is on the loose.

When Mera Maurea goes to Lunor Insul to investigate the Night King's murder, she knows bringing her partner Sebastian Dhay is a mistake, mostly because he's the victim's freaking son.

Things would be a lot easier if Bast's relationship with his four brothers wasn't so...explosive. As the culprit keeps attacking the Night Court, Mera and Bast will have to catch him before all remaining Dhays are dead.

Everything is connected, and solving this case might just bring Mera closer to Poseidon.

The different narrators the male was horrendous

Have to book one I bought the whole series on audible. I truly wish I hadn’t. The man’s voice absolutely drove me insane we change the narrator. You should’ve stuck with the one that you had in book one it is extremely offputting. I would not have booked the series if I did known it totally spoil it for me now. I’ve gotta listen to the other two books because I’ve bought them.

legends or myths, which is real and which isn't.

The plot thickens, what a way to end this book. That cliffhanger was awesome, Bast and Mira really have their hands full with this investigation, every time they think they have it figured out, trouble is just around the corner. There were quite a few surprises in this book, the culprit wasn't who I expected to be honest, though I'm disappointed in myself because it was obvious by the end of the book. I love these kind of stories, where it keeps you guessing right until the end. This is definitely a great series, well worth reading for any detective novel lovers.
