Summary
To Greener Pastures: Poetry from a Rebellious Heart is the first book and audio file given to the world by Dominic Hamling-Newbold through his business North Side Star Developments.
This book is the compilation of writing from many different sources of notepads that were filled when the author was a teenager. For many years, he would write using his phone during the two-mile walk between town and home and not show anybody besides a couple of close friends.
A decade later, he has gone back through his writing (after completing his law degree and coming to the conclusion that law is not the route he wants to walk permanently) and pulled out from the many pages enough material to create this collection of written theology that regards a poetically critical assessment of humanity, society, and the ontological nature of existence.
This is a book that comes with a desire to liberate the artistic and creative side of self. It comes with passion, heart, soul. It is an attempt at providing a gift to you all and, instead of working some generic job just filling a fixed position in a predetermined arrangement, I sell this unique essence of one's spirit.
Some parts of the book has been conceived to literally explain observations and thoughts that one perceives in the external environment whereas, in other places, there has been a bit more of a romanticized effort to capture principles and occurrences with metaphors and suggestive similes.
Hopefully, with this audiobook and novel, I can make you think and, perhaps, incur within the listener my thoughts. Let's leave this introduction here. Peace, love, and some light of resistance.
