To Crave and Covet by Rachel Blake is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Blair Dade, Sean Duregger, and Craig A Hart.

This book comes with a note "The stories in the Black Rose Collection are considered dark romance. Some aspects may be sensitive for some listeners."

This is the first book of Rachel's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. The suspense kept me hooked and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.

Blair, Sean, and Craig did a great job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, romantic suspense, or captive romances.

Excellent

This book is everything I was looking for. With a brutal edge to the storyline Rachel holds nothing back. I do like strong independent female leads that are not scared to show their submissive sides. With a good storyline and great characters it’s a winner for me.

To Crave and Covet

To Crave and Covet is dark and dangerous. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning until the end. The ending had a big twist in it that I didn't see coming but the whole thing felt rushed and the epilogue could have been longer. Blair Dade, Sean Duregger and Craig A Hart all did an excellent job bringing this story to life.

Dark and suspenseful!

The Leave Me Breathless world has definitely caught my attention. This is the third book I have listened to and it has left me breathless! And not in a way you may think. We meet Murphey who has been in an accident. Her husband Stefano has been by her side every minute, and with her loss of memory, she accepts whatever he says. Their relationship is dark and dominant, Stefano is extremely manipulative. Alaska, Murphey's best friend is there for her, and we see just how dark and twisted Stefano can be. There is a lot going on in this short, and I hope that we get to see more of Kross, Murphey, Joey and Alaska!

Narration for this story is fantastic. Blair Dade, Sean Duregger and Craig A Hart bring it all to the table with emotions, and darkness. They made for an exciting and vivid depiction of the characters creating the world in my mind. A very suspenseful and thrilling listen.

Dark and Dangerous!

After a car accident Murphey awakens with no memory of what brought her to this point or her past and the only thing she has been told is that she is married to Stephano. The relationship between her and Stephano raises more questions than answers especially when he is determined to control ever detail of her life.

Murphey’s journey is dark, dangerous and filled with surprises which escalates into an ending you don’t see coming. The narrators did a great job with the personality of the characters and the intrigue part of the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Kept me sucked in

I got so pulled into the story that I didn't really notice the voices changing, which is kind of an odd thing to say! I was so there with all of them all the way through, I just had to know how it was going to end.

So Dark!!

Wow! Just wow!! There are some really dark elements but the story is so good and just captures you. You just have to keep listening to get to the good parts. The narration was really well done and really brought something the dialogue. Wow.

Holy cow, what a listen! This books starts off with some intense action and keeps on going with heat. The twist at the end was so great to see and the ending was just perfect for this book. Narration was done beautifully and brought this book to life.

Great Story & Narration🎧 Dark, Twisted & Intense!

This is a great addition to the “Leave Me Breathless” series, each book in this series is a standalone and one of the things they have in common is how they leave you breathless, each in their very own way. Rachel Blake is a gifted author with a fabulous writing style, the story she created is interesting, original, dark, intense and filled with some surprising twists and turns that will bring you to the edge of your seat. A car accident left Murphey without her memory, she had to rely on her husband, Stefano, to let her know who she was. She was his submissive, she played along but she was not happy about it, especially the Daddy/girl relationship and scening. She felt he was holding her back from gaining her memories but she had little freedoms to find out what she wanted to know. Her one friend, Alaska, did what she could, she knew that Stefano was not a nice person. This is one thrilling romantic suspense, the story is fast-paced, and the author does a great job keeping you in the dark of what is really going on and keeps you wondering if Murphey will get her memories back or not. All gets revealed spectacularly, and it is so worth the wait for it. Rachel Blake, thank you for another awesome story!

They did a great job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow and tell who is who. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on and they had a complete understanding of each role they played, sounded believable and just as I pictured they would sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen.

Obsession Gone Wrong

She awakes in the hospital with her husband Stephano by her side. The only memories she has are the ones he has given her. Her nightmares tell her that there is something that she needs to remember and he can not let her. The dominance she craves he gives her with extra that she does not want. The story is full of darkness and suspense that will have you guessing what is next and fail to guess correctly.
