Summary
Three sisters, one birthday, one little problem...
The three Kettle sisters have had a mortifying mishap. Their raucous, champagne-soaked birthday dinner has come to an abrupt end following a violent argument and an emergency dash to the hospital.
So who started it this time? Was it angry, hurt Cat, still recovering from the 'night of the spaghetti'? Was it Lyn, so serenely successful, at least on the outside? Or was it quirky, dreamy Gemma, the sister who can't keep a secret except for the most important one of all?

Superb performance of a funny, moving story with characters of depth.
Leane Moriarty never fails to engage me, She expertly depicts universal thoughts, experiences and emotions, wrapped in interesting and distinctuve characters. The narrator brings it to life with a real verve and affiliation, all packaged in stories within stories that made me laugh and cry. Thoroughly entertaining.

Aussie Novel
It took a while to get used to the strong Aussie accent.
The fat shaming at the end was very unnecessary and frankly jarring.
Story was interesting but fairly predictable.
