About this listen
When a little rest and relaxation turns into something more...
Julia Maguire can't wait to spend two weeks in Hawaii with her best friends. She's been dreaming about this trip for years and all she wants is to lay on a sandy beach with an icy cocktail in her hand. But those vacation goals change the moment she meets Reed Baxter.
Reed is a busy doctor with family demands. She's in Hawaii to let go, not find love, and she's not interested in any commitment. Adding a little heat to the vacation seems like a good idea as long as there aren't expectations for anything more.

a really sweet story without the mush!
i really enjoyed thus book- a nice easy going story. i loved how relaxed gay parenting was introduced and to the twins that it was natural to have two moms. would love a follow up book as to how their lives unfold when the twins get older ....

Definitely worth a listen/read.
Lesbian Romance.
I really enjoyed the hoilday side of this story but wasn't to please with the ending. It all seemed to be about sex not that that is a bad thing but I had trouble believing how easy ... let ... off the hook.
No body does it better then Abby Craden
Amazing performance.
All round good book. 8/10

Exquisite torture
I'll start with the bad since there's so little. Turns out 'family demands' means kids. I had foolishly assumed other family demands and was less than thrilled that I would now have to listen to a grown woman (a voice actor that I normally adore) put on a high pitched child voice in between speaking utter filth into my ear.
However, said filth was well written (and narrated), the relationship building was fabulous and the characters along with their flaws were believable.
The story pacing was better than much I have listened to lately in the same genre, and the torturous pining was everything.
I have seen some complain when they don't get both pov, but in this case I think it intensifies the feelings to not know what Reed is thinking feeling.

Another great performance
Now I’m not biased but any performance by Abby Craden (as long as there are no English people in it) works wonders for me. This story is no different. A lovely story of working through baggage to find love. It’s not one of the next greatest novels but I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone with Audible to give it a go.

captivated from the start
couldn't put this down, particularly enjoyed the narrations, the soft spoken Carly, the husky Reed tones, the nervousness in Julia's voice.
