Great story but...
The only downside was the voicing of female characters... they sounded like some very bad drag acts. However the other characters were largely brilliant.

Part Book, Part Drama, All Awesome!
Difficult-to follow at times cos complicated plans...

Unexpected Sidestep
Firstly I'll start with dislikes. As they're were none let's begin.
As ever the Timothy Zahn and Marc Thompson partnership is absolutely perfect for the whole Star Wars macrocosm and even listening to other narrators just doesn't cut the mustard.
This story takes us to other areas of Star Wars and takes you into the more acceptable areas of the Imperial Navy.
As Thrawn is a character not publicised in any of the movies the story is intriguing and interesting and was a story that I didn't want to turn off.
Anyone who has the remotest interest in Star Wars must get this audiobook series as it will let your imagination run wild.
A definite must buy, it is a great listen and well worth the 5 stars.
