Summary

Life can change in a flash. Marriage and a baby wasn’t Amy Forsythe’s college plan. After a shotgun marriage glued together by her son, she’s convinced that love isn’t meant for her. Now nearing 40 and single for the first time since her senior prom, her friends are pushing her to date. Her teenager isn’t thrilled by the idea and neither is Amy.

Silver fox Thomas Popov isn’t looking for "the one". He found her decades ago. And fell apart when she died. At 53 with a new job, a new city, and an empty nest, he’s focused on climbing the corporate ladder.

When a softball accident lands Thomas in Amy’s dental chair, sparks fly. Lightning doesn’t strike twice. But love might. This time is different.

This Time It’s Different

I just loved this.
It’s about Amy with a teenage son and silver-fox Thomas with adult children who meets as grown-up.
And all they have to think about when they have more then themselfs to think of just to see eachother. A second chance romance in life.

The narrator Emma Wilder and Sebastian York - just great.

A second chance at love

A light, easy, angst free read. Sexy silver fox, and widowed single dad, Thomas Popov, isn’t looking for love, but when he meets single mum and divorcee Amy Forsythe, the idea of dating is suddenly very appealing. Amy too, is not looking for love, or marriage for that matter. Herein starts a story of second chance dating, along with navigating the struggles of careers, selfish children (aren’t all children selfish - even in their 20s, especially when they think there may be a chance they’ll lose the top spot for their parent’s affection). Expect the unexpected, even when you’re in your 50s. A feel good family drama/romance narrated to complete and utter perfection by Sebastian York and Emma Wilder.
