About this listen
If only Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that went viral....
This Could Change Everything is the feel-good new novel from Jill Mansell, the best-selling author of Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay. Not to be missed by fans of Katie Fforde and Lucy Diamond.
On the one hand, if Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that only her best friend was meant to see - then she'd still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding.... On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn't accidentally taken the Internet by storm, that is), she never would have met Zillah and Conor - not to mention Lucas. And she'd never have found out just how much life there is to be lived....

fab
I loved it! Jill Mansell will always be one of my favourite authors.
The only issue I had with the recording was the voices that the narrator was using made some of the characters seem dopier than necessary.
Regardless though I really enjoyed it :)

worth waiting for
the thing I love about jill mansell is the realistic imperfections and flaws of her characters. I was itching to get to the end but disappointed when I finished it because I wanted and still want more!!! thankyou jill for giving me a wonderful escape yet again

Wonderfully written and narrated
I loved this story from start to finish. I bought the audio book and have to applaud the choice of narrator, who did a fantastic job. I usually only listen when I'm walking my dogs, but this had me gripped, so while shopping, gardening or whatever I was doing, I was listening. Only thing about that was that it was over far too soon, due to being unable to unplug. I was thrilled to get to know Zillah, Essie, Lucas, Scarlet and the rest of the characters, who were so well formed I had a picture in my head of each and every one of them. This would most definitely make a fabulous film, so I hope it is picked up.

Great book, awful reader
I love Jill Mansell books, she's one of the queens of chick lit. However I have recently started buying audiobooks as I am driving long distances and I really struggled to listen to this. Why does the narrator feel it imperative to overdo every vaguely humorous line? Or even worse read in ridiculous voices for characters. Please just stop! It's patronising and irritating. I'm a teacher and wouldn't read to a class of reception children with this much over expression.
