excelent listen.
I really enjoyed this book. Great mix of characters and wonderful story. love the Irish accent too. highly recommended

A great story well narrated but what a shame the reader's words were cut off!
I loved this book but it was infuriating that parts of it were missing in so many places! The reader's first sentences were chopped off at the beginning of many of the chapters. This spoilt the suspense and drama.

Another entertaining success from this author.
Great narrator - characters well defined. Storylines poignant, tragic and very amusing, all intertwined, and with a satisfying ending.

Good story
It is a good story but what annoyed was when the ‘Lola’ chapters came on, there seemed to be missing words everywhere and felt as though sentences were not complete.

great story line, read brilliantly.
At the beginning I found the concept of Lola irritating as she spoke in almost text/diary entry fashion however within minutes that simply becomes part of her loving character.
Does a great job at bringing all the characters together for a story that draws you in.
Read brilliantly by Caroline Lennon does and well with the different accents. The recommend.

Not just chick lit
I really liked this book, great value for money as it was so long, and for last 8 hours or so was gripped and wanted to listen all the time.
It feels a bit dated, inevitable as it’s not a new book. I also found the way Lola was written quite irritating. A bit like Bridget Jones gone wrong. I cringed every time she said “fisog”. On the whole though, I liked it, and it’s an important subject, covered fairly well.

Enjoyed it,
But I 4bibk think it was unnecessarily long. Also got lost at times during the first half of boik; when new chapter starts about a different charecter. Would benefit from sitting name of charecter at start of each chapter.
All that said, enjoyed, and would recommend for easy listening
