A Sunday Times Bestseller
Whatever happened to beloved Girls series characters Ellie, Magda and Nadine?
They're all grown up now - but if they think they know what's coming, they'd better think again...
Adulthood isn’t quite what Ellie Allard dreamed it would be when she was fourteen years old. Though she’s got her beautiful daughter Lottie, her trusty cat Stella and life-long best friends in Magda and Nadine, her love life is non-existent and she feels like she’s been living on auto-pilot, just grateful to be able to afford the rent on her poky little flat.
But this year on her birthday, it seems it’s time for all that to change – whether Ellie wants it to or not. As she navigates new, exciting and often choppy waters, she’s about to discover that life will never stop surprising you – if only you let it.
Bringing the same warmth and humour to an adult novel as she does to her work for younger readers, Jacqueline Wilson finally answers the questions fans have been asking for years in this uplifting, life-affirming story about friendship, family, and finding fulfilment in unexpected places. This audiobook features an exclusive interview between Jacqueline Wilson and narrator, Carrie Hope Fletcher discussing their creative processes, and how it felt to revisit these beloved characters as both author and narrator.
'Think Again is pure nostalgia in a bottle, and oh-so-relatable. Jacqueline Wilson taps into the joys and pains of women everywhere.' - Dawn O'Porter
'Enchanting, moving, meaningful, fun - thank God for Jacqueline Wilson!' - Alice Winn
'A read-in-a-day comfort book' Independent

Everything & more that I hoped this book would be.
I never leave reviews but I loved this book so much I had to!
I loved the original series of these books when I was younger. I enjoyed this book so much I didn’t want it to end and really hope there may be a sequel! The story was believable, relatable & the narrator was very easy to listen to. 10/10 for me!

Loved it
It was so lovely to be able to hear about where Magda, Nadine and Ellie ended up. Jacqueline Wilson will always have a special place in my heart, her storytelling is second to none. Really enjoyed this, and it was performed beautifully, exactly how I expect Ellie to sound!

Nostalgia!!
Loved this book. I’d have liked it as a stand alone girly book but the nostalgia of the characters that I already knew and loved all grown up was magical. I would LOVE if this was a series. I need to know where the girls’ new lives take them!

Lovely to relive the world
So bizarre and beautiful to be back in the world but the narration is really difficult to listen to. It’s like she’s reading the book for kids. Really irritating.

Didn’t want it to end!
Beautiful book, I was listening and so taken aback when it ended! But so happy and feeling satisfied and having enjoyed the ride after so many years. Brilliant character development that felt real and hit the nail on the head every time. Such a treasure - definitely recommending to anyone who read Jacqueline Wilson books as a child/tween.

YES! my favourite characters with mature themes
I was so worried this wouldn't live up to what I wanted but I'm so happy it has! Jacqueline, please continue! Yes the narrator isn't the best but if we rate it poorly there won't be any more.
We deserve more adult themed Jackie Wilson!

Such a shame
I'm a few hours into this audiobook and finding Carrie Hope Fletcher's ridiculously posh, out of character voice for Magda completely unbearable. This is completely against her entire character in all the other books and seems like a strange choice based on one comment about Magda using a posh voice over the phone. A real shame as her other characters are very likeable. I also started listening to her narrate The Secret Garden but found her Yorkshire accent offensively bad and gave up.

A lovely recap to a cherished childhood collection
Easy listen, recommend recapping the ‘Girls In’ collection beforehand so you’re refreshed on the characters. A few plot gaps (Gary was called Guy previously!) but an easy story with well loved characters.
Took a few chapters to settle into the narration as some of the accents were a bit off the mark.

highly recommend
I have loved the previous stories and did worry what this might be like as it has been such a long time but I loved it. I especially like some little nods to other books that the author has written. the characters have kept their personally but you can see how they have grown up
great story and great narrator, again I am quite particularly about narrators but great job. easy to listen to.
Really enjoyed listening to this, highly recommend.
