Summary

Tempestuous winds of change rip through Chozha Naadu as events hurtle toward a climactic end that will shape the very future of the empire. The land gasps under a devastating flood. Barbed strands of Fate tighten around the Chozha royals as Pazhuvoor Queen Nandhini and the Pandiya assassins prepare for the denouement of their lethal plan. Brave Vandhiyathevan races to foil their design even as the brilliant Ilaiya Piratti strives to manoeuvre the empire to safe harbour. Tectonic secrets come to light, recasting alliances and rivalries. This cataclysmic final stand will force every player to face questions that will change them forever.

Can Azhwarkkadiyaan uncover the truth in time? Will Vandhiyathevan emerge triumphant in his mission? Will the Pandiya assassins achieve the nefarious end they thirst for? What will become of the bewitching temptress Nandhini? Will the mighty Chozha Naadu find itself under the thumb of a new Chakravarthy after all?

The final volume of one of the greatest Tamil novels ever penned, Ponniyin Selvan: The Zenith of Sacrifice barrels towards a startling end that will leave its listeners breathless.

Masterpiece of literature, delivered by the sweetest voice actor

A book about love, kingdom, deceit, mistaken intentions, all in the backdrop of south Indian history and architecture. What's not to love about this series!
I'm so glad the English translation was made available so this masterpiece could be enjoyed by all.

There are so many Indian books I've listened to that are narrated by Indians living abroad who struggle with pronouncing names, ruining the magic of the books. It was refreshing to hear an Indian accent narrate these books and comfortably slip in and out of Tamil, as the book flowed. That heightened the authenticity of the book, in my opinion.

Amit's voice is soothing throughout the series and it's a pleasure to listen to. There are so many characters in this series and narrator Amit Bhargav uses different voice for all of them making lengthy discussions between many characters easy to follow.

His impression of Vanathi is my favourite. It's not easy for a grown man to sound like a young innocent girl and make it sound convincing. Every time he said 'Akka..' in Vanathi's voice, it brought a smile on my face.

I strongly recommend this book series to all! Can't wait to hear more from this narrator.
