But just one year later, Faye is on the run from Louis, with baby Jake in tow. In desperate need of a new place to live, she contacts Rachel, who's renting out a room in her remote Norfolk cottage. It's all Faye can afford - and surely she'll be safe from Louis there?

Very good book 👍
Worth a credit definitely. Strong characters, great story, picks up pace the further on you listen. Narration good apart from Fiona who isn't Fiona but that doesn't spoil it too much as she only takes up a small amount of time overall

Different and intriguing

Good & Well Crafted
I enjoyed this story. Well crafted and interesting. The only thing that grated a little was the Norfolk Rachel’s narrator.. but hey.. apart from that I liked it

The Story
The story was not bad at all,however for me the narration ruined it,particularly the voice of Faye/Fiona everything about her irritated me.

This was not for me.
I found most of it predictable and found the narration difficult . I had to jump chapters just to get to the end. It stared out promising but got irritated by the characters but that’s just me. Others have loved it.
