About this listen
Set 44 years after a mass social awakening, The World Within takes us on a journey through the "new normal" on planet Venezelu. It shows us possibilities that come from the human brain in times of mass change.
The biggest breakthrough is the brain’s ability to travel through space and time via our dreams. The Awakening teaches societies how to tap into this inherent in-built "technology".
Our story begins when the first human of Earth taps into this state of consciousness. She sparks a domino effect – mass societal and spiritual reconstruction is on its way.
Embodied in a fictional world of magic, mystics, and flying bears, The World Within addresses human philosophical questions: Why are we here? What happens when we go to sleep? It looks at the impact of good versus evil and the negative effects of power-hungry leaders in politics. In The World Within, an alien perspective sheds light on the importance of transpersonal psychology, spirituality and consciousness as necessary tools for inner peace and development.
An interdimensional being pays a visit to Earth and stumbles across a human woman on the brink of sleep. A normal night for dream traveller Marcux.
What Marcux didn't expect, was that the Earthling could see him too.
Inspired by actual events, The World Within is a parapsychological sci-fi novel. It's about a real sleep phenomenon called "hypnagogia" and how a human woman called Aurora discovers its potential as a gateway to other dimensions.
Filled with shamanic witches, a prophecy, espionage, a dishonest and greedy tyrant, a Supreme Court trial, entrepreneurial pirates, dream travelers, undercover agents, assassins, monks, flying bears, electricity, brainwaves, scientists, a space race against time, and a young woman from Barnsley at the center of it all.
