Summary
What could be worse than being stranded on an island?
Try being there with six coworkers that you hate.
Jonathan Jackson and Mark Thompson are the very definition of workplace toxicity.
As their bickering and infighting threatens to destroy the company, the CEO has no alternative but to send them and their colleagues to a team-building retreat.
When the plane crashes en route, the coworkers find themselves stranded on a deserted island with only each other to rely on for survival. With tensions high and psychological demons threatening to overwhelm them, surviving the island may prove easier than surviving each other.
If you love domestic thrillers, and are looking for a book with a storyline that's not set in the usual neighbourhood, family or friendship circle, this unique and fresh thriller is for you. Think 'The Office' meets 'Lord of the Flies' with a dash of 'Lost'.

Good little listen.
I really enjoyed this book. Kept me listening from start to finish. Would have liked it to be longer but would recommend it. The narration from Duncan Galloway was spot on as always.

Really good
I really enjoyed this one, although I did have the ending figured out pretty much straight away. That said, it was still a really good read, watching how the group function, turn on each other and so on. There was one member I felt really didn't deserve to be in the situation, but they certainly shined. I couldn't put this down, read it in one sitting.

The Work Retreat.
A very entertaining listen with a wealth of good characters. Office prejudices and bad feeling spill over to the team as they are stranded on an apparently uninhabited island and they have to make the best of it. A good plot very well written. I thought Duncan Galloway did a superb job of the narration and I look forward to maybe more of this author and certainly more of Duncan's narrations. Highly recommended listen.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

Good plot
Enjoyed this book. Although sorry to say the narration wasn't the best. The narrator didn't 'feel' the book and a few accents appeared to get muddled up, but overall was an enjoyable listen. don't let me put you off, as it's worth the listen.

My kind of hell
I liked the sound of this book as this kind of forced work trip sounds absolutely horrendous! Felt I had to suspend belief a little for the story set-up to work, but a decent story nonetheless.
