About this listen
From the winner of The Guardian Children's Fiction Prize comes the final heart-stopping installment of the Dark Wild Trilogy.
This is the story of a boy named Kester. He has rescued the last wild animals in the world and saved his capital city from destruction. But now he must face his greatest challenge yet because:
1. The only blue whale on the planet has brought news from across the ocean.
2. A mysterious steel dome has risen from the Four Towers.
3. Out there, somewhere, a brave mouse holds the key to the future....

Action packed fantastic!
Great story, captivating. Good use of humour. Food for thought as well. We thoroughly enjoyed all 3 parts.

AMIZING
I love that it's just kester that can talk to animals and it's not all of them. But there is nothing wrong with this book. This book got me in to books and I read the whole series and every book runs with each other very well

Excellent book
I have now read the entire trilogy, and I believe that it should be a required trilogy in all schools. An excellent final book.

Antlers not horns
This audio book has been an enjoyable listening experience and the story an interesting concept. It is a shame that the word 'horns' is used rather than 'antlers' in reference to the deer as these are not one and the same, misleading for the younger listeners.

Good for children, Cringe for adults
Written in the worst way possible, and the ending to the series was weak and unsatisfying - feels like the author just rushed to end it to get it over and done with.

Terrible plot
A rubbish ending that fails to justify the build up across the series. Very inconsistent character development and big holes in the plot and scenario. Female characters are especially poorly developed and not many of them. Would not recommend this story.
