About this listen

After facing her nightmares head on, Keira soon finds her troubles have only just begun, and if she thought mortals were dangerous, then being hunted by the world’s most powerful beings will spin her further into a web of supernatural destruction.

Keira can’t help seeing the handsome man before her. She can’t help the dreams that consume her, and neither can she stop him from wanting her. But the controlling man who follows her every move isn’t the man she’s dating but the man who's hunting her.

Now it’s down to the only man with enough power to keep her safe, and he doesn’t play well with others. Nor does he take kindly to people trying to take what belongs to him, and Keira belongs to only one man...Dominic Draven. Will the fight for their love be enough to survive the new world she is forced to live in? And, more importantly, can she survive being with the king of the Afterlife?

Stephanie Hudson has dreamed of being a writer ever since her obsession with reading books at an early age. What first became a quest to overcome the boundaries set against her in the form of dyslexia has turned into a life's dream. Afterlife is her first book in the series of seven, with the story of Keira and Draven becoming ever more complicated in a world that sets them miles apart.

Better

What made the experience of listening to The Two Kings the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed this book more than the first as there is a developing story line, detailing hierarchy and the introduction of new characters, however the sex is still a bit like Fifty shades of Grey with cheesy wording .

I can't get enough

very good narration and I'm just sold on seeing Draven and Kiera's journey through now. im invested in the characters now and that's the beauty of the way Stephanie writes, so if you don't get caught up on dissecting the story by thinking ' is the story being pushed forward enough' or 'its too descriptive' and just go with the flow and sit back and just listen you'll enjoy it far more. I know there are 12 books but I don't think that's going to be enough.

Highly recommended

Fab story can’t wait to listen to the next one even though it is a bit long winded at times.
Love how the narrator slips into her Liverpudlian accent.

feeding the addiction!

Any additional comments?

i feel the exaltation of success when things go well or the bitter curse of betrayal or defeat when things don't go to plan as though they are happening to me or a close loved one, what am I going to do when these 3 books are done? I very much hope the next 3 books come in quick secession I need to feed the addiction, not so much crave the drave but walk in the shadow of my queen kiera!

Again Cnpd book !!!

Again a cnpd ( could not put down ) book , again Keira life is up and down with not every day ups and downs no ! Big arse scary life-threatening supernatural ups and downs , I found myself wanting to cry , scream and sometimes holding my breath and not realising it. As I walked through this book in Keira’s shoes .. I feel emotionally tired like I have been up and down on the rollercoaster where I feel like I ve been thrown , twisted and spanned every way known to man BUT I’m so addicted that I can’t wait for the next ride. Bring on book three .

Disappointed

It is taking so long to get through this book I'm reviewing it without finishing it. lost me right from the beginning, I have never known a plane ride to Germany take so long, I could have flown there myself quicker than it took to get through the chapters of their arrival. It just completely lost me and its a shame, the storyline had so much potential. It also felt like there was too much influence taken from other authors, it begun to lose the originality of the author, the single reader is also annoying, having 1 reader does not work for multiple characters, they all sound the same and it doesn't work.
