Green Expertise!
As someone who's always been intrigued by indoor gardening but struggled with keeping plants alive, reading this book was a game-changer. It's so much more than just a gardening book; it's like a plant care bible for beginners and enthusiasts alike. The author's approach to plant care is both practical and enlightening, addressing the common pitfalls I've faced in caring for my houseplants. The audio section on proper watering techniques and the trick to eliminate fungus gnats were particularly revelatory, solving two of my biggest challenges. I was impressed by the insights into making tap water suitable for plants, a simple yet overlooked aspect that has transformed the health of my indoor garden.
I would share past pictures of my aloe here, but its a sore sight!

Plant Doctor to the Rescue
This book was exactly what I was looking for. I am a plant mama but there comes situations that just baffle me. The little white puffs under leaves, droopiness, withered, when to replant. It’s hard to keep up with the different species on when to water. This book provides excellent tips, advice when bringing a new plant home, and how to diagnose illness while preventing the surrounding plants from getting sick. Highly recommend. I’ll be keeping this one on replay.

Great for all Your Plants-Not Just the Sick Ones!
Sunburned leaves? What the heck? I thought plants loved sunlight. Apparently, plants are a but like humans in that they have different skin (leaf) types. Some love the sun and some bur easily. This book helped me understand which were which and a whole lot more. Don't let the title fool you. Not only does the author talk about nursing your sick plants back to health, but also how to keep your healthy plants from getting sick! I found the sections on plant nutrients, light, and soils especially helpful. But BONDING!? Did you know you can bond with your plant? According to the author, it's scientifically proven that plants react to their environment-including human voices. Apparently, they can absorb the energy from your voice, and a calm and relaxing voice can help them grow big and strong. Of course, much of this is due to the Carbon Dioxide that we breathe out and that pants "breathe in". But whatever the reason, this book lays it all out. From plant, soil and pot selection for your new plants to care and nursing of your withering plants, it's all here and waiting for you to take in. It's definitely worth the listen.

If you're a fellow plant parent like me, you know about some of the challenges that you can encounter when caring for different types of plants. If you have attempted to grow tropical plants in a non-tropical environment then you most likely have had some frustrations as you learned the hard way that not all plants require the same care. This book does a wonderful job of explaining how you can overcome some of these challenges so that you can enjoy the benefits and beauty that tropical plants can provide, no matter where you are located.

The best way to know everything about plants
You can learn all about plants and their roots and how the process comes together. I never knew that water blocks oxygen from reaching the soil; I can't believe how many plants I've killed because I've suffocated the lungs of the plants. The audiobook covers stems, leaves, flowers, seeds, and how to ensure you're providing everything any plant needs. It's great to know that certain house plants need a balanced amount of light and watering and that some plants require lower amounts. She discussed watering needs to include the humidity of the situation. I wouldn't have thought if the situation calls for it to use artificial lights. I enjoyed listening to the idea of the placement of the plants and being mindful of when and where it's the brightest or most dangerous for direct rays. The narrator was perfectly selected to bring these topics to life. You're going to enjoy this book.
