Exciting contemporary spy novel
This is the 3rd book about Emma Makepeace. It was exciting and engaging, and I look forward to the next book 😊

Stunning - A Modern Spy Classic
Ava Glass has been called "the new queen of spy fiction" and listening to this book it's easy to see why. Her plots race along at heart-thumping speed, her characters draw you in and don't want to let go. This is book three in the series - though I don't think you have to have read the other two - and her kick-ass female spy, Emma Makepeace, is sent to Edinburgh to try and disrupt a plot to try and kill the Prime Minister during the summit. The action shifts from London to the misty and atmospheric Scotland to the glamorous streets of Rome and back again and every twist and turn had me gripped. Sophie Colquhoun is a great reader too. A phenomenal listen.
