About this listen
My tracking powers are changing, and I fear what I might become.
My life has turned into a Mission Impossible flick, and my tracking agency is paying the price. No matter how hard I try to stay out of the pandemonium unfolding around my city, I keep getting pulled into the thick of things. So the bills are piling up, our reputations hang in the balance, and we have no new customers. I can almost see the writing on the wall. My dream will crash and burn.
To top it all off, my tracking skills are acting up, confusing me and throwing me for a loop when I least expect it.
Despite all of this, I can’t turn away from the chaos that threatens to turn St. Louis into a Skew warzone, and I keep getting deeper and deeper into the awful scheme that the power-hungry werewolves and vampires that rule the city have concocted.
And as I become the center of their deranged plot, I know I have no other choice but to fight them. I just hope I don’t lose myself in the process.
If you enjoy K.F. Breene, Shannon Mayer, Annette Marie, and CN Crawford then step into a conspiracy where you don’t know whom to trust.

Great
With Toni’s power changing she’s not sure how to control them . She is still trying to find out what’s going on with the werewolves and what Stephen has to do with it . When she finally finds out she wasn’t prepared what what was happening. I just wish Jake and Toni would hurry up and get together ignore his dad and grandfather and get their HEA.

Entertaining listen.
This is a great series and this book was no exception. Lots of twists and a bit of a shocker at the end. Looking forward to the next one.

Gripping
Loved the pace of this book. And whilst its in the midst of an ongoing storyline it was complete in itself and set up for the next book. Each character is really starting to come into their own, and building anticipation for the next story is always there. First Class!

Thrilling instalment
In the previous instalment, Toni was left reeling from three discoveries; that Stephen had faked his kidnapping and was behind the unrest in the Skew community, that Jake had been compelled by his grandfather to agree to an arranged marriage with Allison Blackridge in order to strengthen their pack and lastly that she was an Alpha.
Toni hopes that by continuing her training with Eric, she can get to the bottom of who and what she is. With newly burgeoning powers however, it seems that she has yet to reach her full potential.
With attacks on the city increasing and the deadly rhabo drug continuing to devastate the vampire community, time is running out for Damien’s daughter as well as one of Toni’s clients. Unfortunately Damien’s first attempt at concocting a cure is sabotaged. In order to make another, he needs a rare ingredient called Bitterhorn which can only be found in Elf-hame, the Fae Realm. Toni’s journey to Elf hame results in her second meeting with the charismatic Prince Kalyll, of the Seelie Fae. Will he be forthcoming?
Just as things start to look up, the enemy strikes in a way that Toni and her friends could never have anticipated with tragic consequences..
Powered by adept character development and relentless pacing, The Tracker’s Rage is the third explosive instalment of the highly compelling Sunderverse series. Told from Toni’s perspective, the plot picks up immediately after the events of the previous book and sees Toni looking to Eric for answers after realising she’s an alpha. Before long, several secrets are uncovered in this (mostly) plot driven instalment. The identity of Toni’s father is revealed, Jake finally learns the truth about Toni’s abilities, and a possible explanation is given for her newly burgeoning powers. We also learn that the creation of the rhabo drug was inadvertently Eric’s fault and the reason behind the favour he owed Damien in return for training Toni. Crucially, the mastermind behind the unrest in the werewolf and vampire community is also exposed - as is their nefarious scheme which leaves the team horrified.
Despite Toni’s new abilities putting her on an equal footing with Jake, their relationship remains as complicated as ever. This is due to Jake having made a Blood Covenant (an unbreakable pact made with blood magic that must be fulfilled within a deadline) when he agreed to marry Allison Blackridge. To renege on it would be a death sentence. As Jake becomes increasingly torn between his feelings for Toni and his duty to his pack, I found myself wishing that we had a chapter or two from his perspective to give deeper insight into his conflicting emotions.
A highlight of the book for me was when Toni accompanies Damien into Elf-hame in search of a crucial ingredient for the cure to the rhabo drug. Damien’s memorable confrontation with Glimlock resulted in a wonderfully comedic showdown which I found highly entertaining. I was also thrilled by the return of the charismatic Prince Kalyll who made an impression on me when he appeared fleetingly in The Tracker’s Mark.
My favourite overall aspect of the book however, was the wonderful dynamic between Toni, Eric and Damien which made the finale all the more heartbreaking and had me staring at the last page in utter disbelief for a good five minutes in case I had read it wrong.
This was an exciting, fast-paced read with well-developed characters that are a pleasure to root for. All the action scenes kept me on the edge of my seat and several twists had me gasping aloud in shock. I was so wrapped up in the characters that I couldn’t believe it when I reached the end. To think the next book is not even published yet.. ughh, waiting is so not my thing...
I was impressed by Kasi Hollowell's clear and concise narration and the way she was able to bring all the characters to life.
